We need a elite recruiter at LBers. I'm all for canning Rumph after NSD and finding a better DL coach-recruiter.

Not going to happen. This is a down year in FL for DL, specifically interior DL. Rumph is well respected and won't be going anywhere.

Im ready for the season to officially end so we can how the staff shakes out before recruiting picks back up. So far the recruits seem to like the Shannon promotion to DC.

Yes. He's gotten 1 DT in 2 years and Clayton. His pass rush is not existent against good to great teams. 20 of our 31 sacks came against UK, SCAR, NTX and UMass. I'm also not a fan of RS being DC since he hasn't ran a defense in over a decade. I do like that he is aggressive though.

Seems like a good choice. Not sure he would have stayed around long if they didn't promote him.

You present your opinions as facts. Your constant negativity and bitching and moaning is why people question if you're truly a fan of the Gators.
Randy Shannon is by all accounts a great hire, but here you are bitching about it. Chris Rumph helped turn Caleb Brantley, Jon Bullard, and Cece Jefferson into top NFL draft picks, and there are many more about to come through. By all accounts, Rumph is a top recruiter, but because you live in a dark world where you see Florida as 0-12 every year. The constant bitching is seriously old. How bout you try being a fan and supporting your favorite team for once? Instead of trolling this board
