'Ship.

I think we'd have to play an exceptionally bad game for them to have a chance. Like, real bad. Our defense is much better than anyone they've faced and once again, their quarterback does not protect the ball.

We'll get a couple of interceptions, I think we win big if we don't shite the bed and take a lot of momentum into the hardest part of our schedule.

Question, how old were you the last time Kentucky beat UF? I was 31 in 1987.

Kentucky has only lost 4 turnovers in 3 games - given that was against not the best competition in the world.

That being said, they are going to try to run the ball with Snell 30 times, just like they did against South Carolina. They are going to chew clock, play it safe, and hope Florida fricks up and gives them the game. They are going to rely on their defense to shut down Florida's run, play 2 deep safeties, and make Florida dink and dunk down the field. Very similar to 2015. I see this as being tight and low scoring.

Florida, on the other hand, has 6 turnovers in 2 games as compared to Kentucky's 4 in 3 games. UF puts the ball back in Kentucky's hands on short fields and that is ball game. Florida's offense HAS GOT TO SCORE POINTS AND/OR STAY ON THE FIELD FOR A LONG TIME.

This defense is not built to hold all game long. They are short handed and young.

Florida has a really good chance of winning if their DL has a good game. UK's weakness this year so far has been on the OL.

EDIT:
What is really scary to me is that Florida cannot run the ball. They have one big play from scrimmage this year, but other than that, their run game has been shite from the first snap to the last run against UT. That means if they want to win, Franks is going to have to go on the road and produce a lot of yards, because UK has been playing good run defense. They are only allowing 57 yards per game on the ground right now, and I don't care who you've been playing, that is decent.

Edit 2:
UK's one other weakness besides the relative issues with their OL, is in pass defense. They are giving up about 290 yards per game and 5 TD's through 3 games against not the greatest competition. I think that they are going to stop UF's run, so if UF wants to win it'll be up to the passing game to get it done. Deebo Samuel was killing them before he got hurt, and Korey Robertson at USM had 7 catches 111 yards and 2 TDs, so I think a guy like Cleveland could have a huge game against this secondary. Someone just needs to get him the ball. I think UF will have to mix in a lot of screens to keep UK honest, so guys like Toney and Powell will need to make some people miss and the other receivers are going to have to block well.

My man Toney is the new short field target. I think we're overselling Kentucky by a whole lot, and underselling ourselves.

As for the running game: Williams is averaging 20 yards a carry, so, ah, if we just give him the fricking ball (along with Thompson, Perine is floundering) I think we might actually do alright.

We are very much overplaying this.

Well, im not. Gators break out big imo

Offense is gonna have some swagger after last weeks big play, defense is gonna wreck shite against their one dimensional QB.

I think people are being a bit crazy with the expectations here.

This is setting up more like the 2015 UK game than the 2016 UK game.

The way UF has played I don't see why anyone would be picking a blow out. That's just setting yourself up for disappointment.

I think we ll see the offense find their stride this week. Imo Franks earned the trust of the offensive players last week, and that to me is huge. They know our past track record of QBs who couldnt get it done, now they have a guy with a big time arm who is growing into a leader of the unit, a guy they can follow.

Who has UK beaten? Yes we've sucked but they've beaten USM, EKU and SCAR. All who are way worse talent wise than even us. Their QB can't pass. UF struggles early but puts them away late. If UF loses this game you fire Mac on the spot. UK is that bad.

The east:

UGA-UF

Everyone else. Multiple teams Will have 5+ losses.

I think Kentucky is getting way overvalued too.

I hope Franks takes another step forward in his test this week.

UK is not that good. I'm not saying they're that good. But they have a relatively good run defense - only giving up 50 on the ground per game so far - which is good against any competition.

Their weakness is through the air and on the OL. UF should be able to take advantage of both of those things, but the last few times UF has played decent run defenses and needed to throw to win it has not gone well.

Looked at the game again today, massey had a ball that hit his hands in tight coverage that he dropped, toney dropped a td and the TE hit the catchable ball up on the pick.
Thats 3 completions for either a first down gain or a score that were dropped. Perine fumbled on a big run and Davis fumbles into the EZ for a touchback on his run that wouldve iced the game imo.

Tenn is lucky we didnt run them off the field.

I mean, at some point we just may have to come to terms with the fact that all those shenanigans you described is just how Florida is going to play every game.
