Mike White has the boys off to a hot start this year at 5-0

We should be a tournament team this year. We play a really good Gonzaga team tonight that's ranked 11tg in the country and should give us a feel for where we are at.

You beat me to it! We beat a damn tough Seton Hall team and play Gonzaga tonight...Dickie Vitale tweeted out about UF and how we will cause problems in the SEC.

Gotta love Canyon Berry...dude can play and its good to see his dad in the stands. Kevaughn went beserko and had 21 pts and I think Berry had 20 ts.

Yup, I'm excited to see our guards playing really well. I think Robinson and ebignu will be fine as big men but I was worried about if our guards would hold it together. Allen and Barry look great. Hills looked ok, don't remember he doing much good or bad. But I still think chioza can be a liability when he gets over aggressive on defense and tries to play hero ball on offense.

My only complaint is how many dumb shots they take. Shot selection could be a lot better and we made a bunch of crazy shots last night it seemed like and you can't rely on for 40 games.

The fouls have gotten out of hand.

Every trip down the floor there was a foul it seemed.

Robinson couldn't even get on the floor because of the refs.

Hope the Gators have enough in the tank for Gonzaga tonight

The officiating was horrible....beyond atrocious and the conference responsible (not sure which it was) they are part of should look at film and reprimand them and not put up with this crap. We were called for fouls when we never touched a Seton Hall player...WTF?

Dontcha love free throws by Barry? Wow...he will get the Rowdy Reptiles stirred up

Damn we went cold in the second half and went too long a stretch without scoring and they killed us with some 3s. Zags shot about 60% in first period and then shot for something like 68% in the second stanza.

Even with their hot shooting we had the lead at intermission because of energy on defense and creating a lot of turnovers. Still a close game and the Zags had like two big men 7' tall....geez...but we held them pretty good...it was the outside shots and dribble drives in the second period that did us in...plus our cold shooting.

We must have had at least three dunks that we didnt finish and thats inexcusable. One good thing to see was our FT shooting was red hot and that kept us in the game. I mean...we were fouled constantly and we made them pay. I havent seen such great FT shooting in ages. Unless we totally implode we win be a NCAA tournament team.

Tough loss to swallow because I really thought we looked like the better team all game. Let's go beat Little Havana on Sunday and then pray as we go and take on the Dukies next week.

We went 2-19 from three. If only we could've went (a still atrocious) 4-19 or 5-19. It was the difference in the game.

Good start to the season.

They better not overlook UNF on the road before the Duke game in MSG.

I'm liking this team. Still early, and they are more athletic, play scrappy defense, and are much improved from the FT line. Potential sweet 16 squad.

Yes...we showed that we belonged on the same court and the future is bright. Duke is probably a Final Four team.

This is not a great passing or shooting team, but they seem to have improved on both since last season. Really love the fight and hopefully they will work on the ball movement as the season goes on. Duke plays a tough man to man D with pressure on the ball, so it caused us more trouble than hopefully it will later in the season.
