Not the prettiest 40 point game ever, but dominant.

Should beat UGA next week. But it's going to be scary to play Michel/Chubb without our best linebacker.

To Jacksonville!

My guess is a bad ankle sprain.

For me, I do think we're going in the right direction but as we've been saying: We're still a year away. Anyone who saw us on paper knew it.

We get a quarterback, it's all over. It's nice to see our offense score, it's nice to see that we're finally getting first downs and converting third downs.

It's bad to see us finding every way to fumble the ball on the one goddamn yard line. It's like we're cursed.

We have our problems but so do many other teams right now. I can look at UGA, UT, TX, OK, USC, PENN ST and many others as teams who used to be potent and win NCs.

The SEC is serious business and hard to navigate unbeaten or unscathed in a season. Injuries affected a lot of teams but some are luckier than others. Bama has quality depth that Saban has recruited over the years.

Bama, as all really good teams, is built with defense. The offense just needs to not lose games or keep your defense on the field too long. The hurry up offenses are cute and all but usually against good defenses they end up with too many 3 and outs and wear out their defense.

We have a week off and then play a UGA team with a lack of depth and quality talent...especially WRs. Rivalry games can be dangerous but I think our defense feeds off Easons frosh mistakes and should have game in hand by third qt. hopefully. After that we have Arkansas at Fayetteville, S. Carolina in the Swamp then road trips to LSU & the girls school. If we dont implode on offense and make too many offensive mistakes...and our defense plays with an attitude, we could win out, but its a tall order.

We need players healthy and mended for the home stretch. Six games left....ooopps...five games left. Can we pull it off? I predicted 11-1 since after the spring game and its been a crazy year.

We are not running the ball nearly well enough and that surprises me. To be a championship team we need to be top three in rushing and rushing defense....we only have one of them. The OL has enough snaps to be better than they are. Freaking 8 motion flags? Are you kidding me?? Now...in fairness I know one or two were the fault of WRs....but still. Someone needs to lite a fire under their azzs and wake them up. I hope Sharpe will want to play well in his hometown in Jax.

Straw, man...did we watch a different game? We better thank God we have a stout defense (that Boom recruited) and it saved our bacon. 5 turnovers? We looked mostly pitiful even though our defense and special teams kept them on their end of the field almost all game. The defense and special teams scored three TDs. Yes, at times we moved the ball only to get put in third and longs because of azzhat flags for motion. We couldnt run on them till they finally wore out late. Truth.

The UGA game will be tight because it's a rivalry.

We really need to get Ivie back, especially if Davis' injury requires him to be out for a period of time.

-Great to see 500+ yards against an SEC team
-Cleveland is going to be a stud
-Scarlett has to get more touches at RB
-Del Rio is average. I'm rooting for him to succeed but I think he will be exposed against some of the better defenses we will face. He made questionable decisions in his first 3 games and got away with some poor throws. He could have had more than 3 int last night as well.
-We aren't very good up the middle against the run. Anzalone is average in run defense. Chubb should get 200 yards against us if we don't get Davis and Ivie back. Reese did play well though after Davis went down.

I think Davis has a sprained ankle.

Might be out for UGA, but back for Arkansas.

We had 500 yards of offense. We were moving the ball well, but we just don't have the cohesion (especially at Oline) to score consistently.

Dude, this is it. Stop.

Muschamp was awful. He couldn't recruit at offense to save his life and his defenses got torched.

The defense has looked infinitely better under Mac, so maybe he recruited well at defense but Mac has coached our boys up better.

We don't even have super names outside of Tabor. We don't have Easley or Fowler, but the defense has been more stout, broken records and been overall better.

And Muschamp will be done at SC next year.

I'll make a sig bet over that.
