Is Coach Mac saying something by not saying something?

There is no way LDR plays on a sprained knee. Even if he is semi-healthy enough to actually play, one partial hit could end his playing career.

Unless of course they have purposefully been disingenuous about how bad the injury is. Maybe it's just a bruise and he really is fine.

The other thing - I seriously doubt Trask or Franks get their first playing time in an SEC road game unless it is forced to happen.

This is all just mind games.

That being said, Trask better be ready to go, because one bad hit and he's the starter.

I think he's just keeping it intentionally vague to help divert some of the game planning from UT. No matter who we play at QB there's not going to be much of an air attack. That really limits our offense and makes us very one deminsional. Really doubt we see LDR tomorrow.

Franks has been playing with the 1/2s this week. He's the backup. Trask was on the scout team

Dont kid yourself...if Appleby starts then its bombs away baby at least a handful of times with his strong arm and he also is built stronger than anyone else of our QB roster...he does run well and I expect to see him tote the mail some.

As for JDR....wouldnt surprise me at all if he is on the field throwing passes with his precision accuracy with short and intermediate throwing. We arent going into a shell like I thought after JDRs injury...Appleby can throw the ball a mile effortlessly. The defense will have our offenses back and our OL will have Appleby/JDRs backs to prevent injury.

I think you guys hit a homerun with Coach Mac.

Obviously time will tell, but so far, so good.

I feel the same way. He just...seems to get it. I like his attitude, and while there are always questionable coaching decisions I just feel comfortable with him at the helm.

Could not say the same for quite a while.

His coy, confident demeanor resonates with the team. They take on his attitude and I love it. He's calm and I feel confident with him coaching us in a big game.

We cant forget that probably their best CB Cameron Sutton is out with a fractured ankle, and Reeves-Maybin is just coming off a shoulder injury.

They are in TROUBLE!!!!! Only need 20 points and unless the offense giftwraps a few gifts....20 is all we'll need.
