This guy may not be a future Heisman candidate (or maybe he is, who knows), but he is so much more talented than what we've had here for so long.

Is there an unbiased evaluate of recruiting right now? Looks like UF is behind the 8-ball but maybe that's by design. Maybe they want to make a late run. Or maybe they are really suffering. I don't know. But the Stidham situation seems to be tied to recruiting. Maybe a true assessment can be posted in the recruiting thread, which is where I'm headed to next.

Anyways, back to the original topic, I saw that Stidham pushed his decision date back, possible UF Official Visit in the works? I honestly think if he gets on campus, we got him

He said Mac and Nuss "really know their sh**" and he liked their vison for this team going forward"

I agree if he visits, we got him.

What does opponents overall record have to do with Stidham?

What does Leatherwood and Jeudy not coming to UF have to do with Stidham?

Also, to the rest of you, keep every thread on topic. I'm sick of reading the back and forth bullshite in every thread that leads to being off topic.

This kinda cares me. Feeling this way about Mac is one thing, but Nuss is one of the biggest dumb fricks there is. I'm questioning Stidham's judgement now.

Finch its cares me too...but I didnt know you cared so much sorry, couldnt resist.

But please tell us how well you know Nuss? Jarrett cares you because he thinks highly of him?? I know one thing...it doesnt take a rocket scientist to see how well Stidham throws and with a snap release....making him harder to sack.

His cutesy play calling when things are going well is a pretty good indication for me to believe he's an idiot.

Finch...an idiot? Idiots cant dress themselves and I wonder if Mac helps him dress?

Wonder why Stidham thought so highly of him?

fool, arse, ignoramus, dolt, moron, imbecile, halfwit, cretin and below mental ability of three year old. Those were definitions in dictionary.

Not looking good for us unless Stidham visits. But we've known that for a while. I haven't seen anything about him visiting this weekend and it's Thursday

Based on this ESPN article, it would pretty much take firing Nuss and then hiring Kendal Briles to get Stidham.

Briles > Nuss anyway, but Mac would need to act now...

So, unfortunately, since it sounds like he's such an Auburn lean, it's next to impossible to happen unless we act now.

Philosophical change on O isn't happening to get Stidham.

I say hire little Briles as a QB coach or an off the field coach. He's out of a job right now so he would consider it I'm sure

Bingo.

This would be a time for Strickland to give Mac some latitude and get that done ASAP. This assumes he isn't intimately tied to the mess at Baylor. If he was left in the dark and had no role in things then he's in the clear.

Stidham to visit Auburn on Friday. He spent 12 hours with their O-coordinator earlier this week. I wouldn't put it past Auburn to hire little Briles to get him. Looks more and more like he is going to WDE. But he is waiting to see where little Briles ends up.

I dont see, nor do i want to see changes just to land ONE recruit.

Let him go to Auburn.

Me either...good luck at AU if he decides thats best for him until we play them in a few years....then he can go 0-28 passing.

Cant let a recruit dictate to us who we should hire. No way no how.

What could go wrong with little Briles? Seemed like a good coach.

If we were switching offenses or if Mac brought him in as a consultant to add some spread wrinkles I guess would be ok. But to do it simply to land a recruit doesntvset a good precident imo

Plus if you brought in Briles, the fanbase would split
