So here, I'm gonna go ahead and talk about my predictions with a little shameless self-backpatting.

1. Appleby wasn't terrible, nor was our offense.

2. Muschamp is Muschamp, like I've been saying.

3. Michigan, a barometer that so many people have used to judge McElwain just lost to a team that's 6 - 4 and who had lost to an FCS. Michigan, known for its AMAZING OMGWTFBBQ offensive prowess had 200 yards total to a team who gave up to Penn State 600 yards.

Fourth and most important:

We have 3 Away games (2 Neutral sites) next year due to our extra home game. It's great to be a Gator.

Fluke loss. And plus, they lost to a last second field goal. The didn't lose by double digits like we did to tenn and Arky.

Iowa lost to an FCS.

It's one thing to lose on a home game against a team like Arkansas.

It's a whole other thing to lose to a team like Iowa, who is lucky to be bowling.

200 yards of offense to supposedly one of the best coaches in the country?

McElwain has not lost to a team that he shouldn't have lost to.

Ark will finish 8 - 4.

Tennessee will likely finish 9 - 3.

LSU will likely finish 8 - 3.

LSU last year finished 11 - 3.

Alabama last year finished 14 - 1.

FSU went 10 - 3.

Michigan went 10 - 3.

I mean, we were supposed to lose four games this year, but we're set up really well next year. This was always a rebuilding year, we didn't know who our quarterback was, offensive line has 4 underclassmen, best receivers are underclassmen.

Next year? No excuses. McElwain needs to have his shite in order. But all of those teams were really good, it's not like he's losing to scrubs and badly like putting up 200 yards on Iowa.

An FCS got 363 against that defense.

Teams NDSU has beaten the last few years:
They're 9-3 against FBS schools with wins over

#13 Iowa
K-State
CSU 1-0 against Mac
Kansas
Iowa St
Minnesota twice

And have a 6 game win streak over fbs. This isn't a 2013 GSU type school. They're the Bama of the fcs

The North Dakota State Bison footballprogram represents North Dakota State University in college football at the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision level and competes in the Missouri Valley Football Conference. The Bison play in the 19,000 seat Fargodome located in Fargo, ND. The Bison have won 13 National Championships and 32 Conference Championships and are the five-time defending NCAA Division I-FCS National Champions (2011–2015). NDSU is the only college football program to ever win five consecutive NCAA national championships. In regards to overall record, post-season play, and titles won over the past 5 years; the NDSU Bison Football program is known as one of the greatest dynasties in college football history.

Since 2011, the North Dakota State Bison have a record of 80–6 (.930) including an ongoing record 20 game playoff win streak, making them the most successful college football football program in Division I this decade. The Bison are 134–33 (.802) since moving to Division I in 2004. Since 1964, the Bison have had only 3 losing seasons and an overall record of 482–135–4 (.779) through that 52-year span, one of the best in all of college football. North Dakota State currently has more all-time wins than any non-Ivy League FCS Program at nearly 700 all-time wins. Of all teams established after 1894, only Oklahoma has won a higher percentage of their games than NDSU. The team also has the record for the longest winning streak in Division I-FCS which stands at 33 consecutive games spanning from 2012 to 2014. It is also tied for the 3rd longest streak in NCAA football during the past 50 years.[1]

In the final AP Football Poll of the 2013–14 season; after their third consecutive National Championship, North Dakota State finished with 17 votes which ranked them at #29 in all of D1 football, the highest end of season ranking of any team in the history of FCS football. After defeating 13th-ranked (FBS) Iowa in 2016, the Bison earned 74 votes and a #27 ranking in the entire D1 field, overtaking their previous record to become the highest-ranked FCS team of all time.[2]

Dude, none of that is an excuse.

Less scholarships, less talent, less resources, less materials.

Of those teams, they hadn't beaten anyone worth mentioning. Iowa is now 6 - 4.

I'm sorry, but if you think it's comparable you're back to ''crazy'' status. 200 yards???

200 yards???

There's a difference.

He inherited a pretty good offense, maybe even great regarding experience. McElwain inherited an absolute mess, had to rehaul everything and is doing well with what he has.

One real quarterback in his first year, no offensive line, no kicker and still won the East.

This year, one real quarterback, offensive line looking better every game and he finally has a kicker. If we lose the East to Tennessee, that's okay.

Next year, you'll see. Just like you saw this week.

They game doesn't mean anything to Michigan . If they win out they will be in the playoff while we may not some luck to be in the playoff if we win out. In case you forgot we played Michigan in a bowl game. I would take Harbaugh over Mac right now in a heart beat. Mac took over a better team.
