The only mystery in that game was why didn't UF take complete control in the 3rd quarter and run away with it.
I don't feel bad at all. For about 25 years, playing UF has been many teams' "super bowl". Screw them all.

Because the team didn't pack it in and give up. They kept playing. Kentucky made mistakes but we were ready to take advantage of them.

Inserting Del Rio was crucial...we had gone 0-6 on third downs before he entered and that couldn't continue or the defense would have imploded.
The fourth down thrown against the grain as he was chased out of bounds was instrumental in us winning the game. If we had let UK have the ball then near the fifty yd line the game might have been lost.
We have so many frosh playing now and this bodes well as we continue down the stretch, they are going to make mistakes, but also make key plays for us. The biggest improvement is on offense but I expect the defense to be much better by the time we play in the WLOCP in Jax.
