I am trying like hell to comprehend our chances against FSU. We've been abysmal against them the last couple of years but seeing how we went into and came out of Death Valley gets me excited.

I think if we keep DC off the field with Scarlett and Perine carrying the team, we got this game.

27-21, Gators over the Women's School.

The teams that have beaten FSU have scored a lot of points to do it. 35+ all 3 times. I don't know if Florida can do that, so the defense is going to have to play its best game of the year.

Florida will also need to find a way, IMO, to score 24 points. I think that's what they need to give the defense to win the game.

I don't think they can do it, but I didn't think they could beat LSU either.

Also, this Florida team doesn't seem to handle success very well, so I think it will be VERY interesting to see how they handle actually winning a big game this week. Will they just sit around and feel good about themselves or will they go to FSU fricking angry and looking for blood?

That's a big factor as well. Does LSU Florida show up? Or Arkansas Florida?

I think we win 24-14

We shut down a better FSU team last year for 3 and a half quarters but our offense couldn't score.

This years offense at least has a pulse. I like the way our defense matches up with their offense. If we can hold Cook in check, I think we'all get pressure on Francois and force him to turn it over a little bit. I think we have the best defense they'll see all year.

I think we win this game and Francois struggles from all the pressure and hits we get on him. Tabor and Quincy get a pick a piece. Florida wins 24-14.

Judging by the post game conference Mac is going to tell Nuss to run the ball.

Factors:
Our D line verses their shitty OL. UF has to get pressure on Francois and keep contain better than they did against LSU
Our OLs verses their D line. Hopefully UF and maul them.
Cook verses our freshmen LBs. They have to tackle like they did against LSU.

Agreed. Confidence is one hell of a drug.

Fsus defense is atrocious. Even with injuries I'd say we're the best defense they'll play. UF 24-14.

Only thing that worries me is Walker vs Sharpe. Walker is really good.

Arden Key is a lot faster than Walker and Sharpe only had one mistake all game against him...not worried about that.

You dont need 24 points or more when you have our defense, plain and simple defense wins games as long as we dont have turnovers...we win...period exclamation point.

LSU outgained us considerably....but we held them inside the 15 yd lines to win. We have a payback to give and the OL will run block and if we pound them like we should..it will be a W...just need chains to move some to keep defense rested and let Appleby throw a few bombs to get them off our OL and then everything evolves around the ability to pound the rock and that demoralizes a defense and keeps the girls school crowd sitting on their hands quiet.

I think we get at least 2 turnovers and maybe more. We are due a nice punt/kickoff return. Wont predict score.

FSU is the most balanced team we'll face not named Bama. FSU has the # 25 offense and #36 defense in the country. Every other team has been good on one side or the other or bad at both. We're gonna need the team to play lights out again. Amending my prediction to FSU 24-7. FSU is stout against the run and bad against the pass. This isnt a good match up. We're gonna need a repeat performance from the defense and the passing game will need to be world's better helping the running game more than it did against lsu. We need to force turnovers and sack francois who's been pummeled this year. Dalvin Cook needs to be contained at all costs. We've got a chance.

Yeah, they are a good school and have been a second half team also...but they have played pathetic acc foes and the Ole Miss game is a joke...Ole Miss went up big....but we all know OM has absolutely a horrible defense and are outweighed by a LOT.

Again...if we somehow manage to have zero turnovers we can waltz to a W...if we tie them in TOs...or have more...it will be tough sledding with the home crowd. I like Appleby and his ability to run some to keep them from shooting a CB on us. 240 lbs is hard to bring down.
And I think the OL is ready to bulldoze some of those ketchup & mustards into submission.
