Grier? I don't think so.
Harris? Probably stays BC Grier is out half of next year.
Do we flip Franks? Hopefully. From what I've read he's definitely in play and LSU fans are not too confident they land him.

You do not play true frosh QB unless you have no choice. He should be r/s'ed if we sign him. Grier is soph next year, Treon a junior and Im not sure about Del Rio...but a r/s soph? Franks could sit and learn to be our future.

Someone on the rant mentioned that Del Rio was playing better than even Grier in fall camp last year but wasn't eligible. My guess is that the QB competition next spring will be big and may even carry through the year. If Grier loses the competition after he comes off suspension (possible I would think, especially if he isn't even allowed to practice with the team) I would not be surprised to see him transfer.

I don't think Grier is the starter next year unless who ever starts the year struggles. If Del Rio or the freshmen play well , I would be shocked to see Grier take the job back from them next year.

If we flip Franks he will not start next year. Talk about raw. His release is slower than Tebow's. Del Rio was getting a lot of good comments in spring ball I think he starts next year unless Treon improves. Treon is what 8-3 or 9-3 as a starter with a lot of defensive help. I don't see Grier transferring either the only way is if Del Rio lights it up and never looks back.
