What the hell are you talking about, TJ? When Mac took over, the class was ranked 121st in the country. We had like four commits. Mac managed to salvage the class and finish it ranked 20th. Y'all use this to say he can't recruit, when in reality if you put it into perspective, it was a hell of a good job by him to salvage it. That was .5 classes.

Last year was the first full class he signed. It was ranked 12th in the nation. He has only signed 1 and a half classes as the head coach at UF. On signing day next month, he will have signed two and a half classes. You spout that Mac has signed 50+ 3 star players, when in reality, he has only actually signed 45 total players, 49 if you count early enrollees, and 12 out of the 15 players committed in this class are ranked a four star or better on one of the three major recruiting services.

On the Chris Thompson note, it's clear that he isn't going into the NFL to be a WR, so he wanted to have some game film at DB to help his pro stock. It was a choice he made and Mac granted it to him so he could better his chances at the NFL. It's pretty clear that Mac allowed it so that it could benefit Chris Thompson and his future. Why would you try to disparage a kid trying to find a way to take advantage of his God given athletic ability in any way he possibly can, just for the sake of your backwards, baseless argument?

Mac signed the 2015 class right? So it was his class. Did Zooks, Meyers, and WM classes not count. Throwing out that first class commits that weren't his you still see he signs more 3*s than his predecessors and his staff doesn't know how to recruit elite players except for Gray who replaced the disaster of Kirk Callahan. Mac has signed 2 guys non UF commits on NSD if we go by your standards. Cleveland and Putu. You can't claim the recruits you got only when you arrived. Mac accepted all those LOIs. Ivey and Cece were coming here no matter what. His 2nd class didn't have a DT and his DB, S, LB, and DE recruiting have not been up to past standards even though we've had a great defense going back to 2008. That 2016 class was 12th but ranked 6th overall in the SEC and 7th in * average. Mac has signed 3 including Allen. projects at QB and poor defensive recruiting will get him fired.

Mac commits since he arrived

AC81-Star-3*
Scarlett- Good player-4*
Cronkrite-Transfer-4*
Zuniga-played well during early games, MIA during SEC play-3*
Daniel I-Transfer-3*
Williamson-reserve-3*
K.Davis-shown flashes against weaker teams. A good backup-3*
B. Sandifer- Reserve-3*
RDJ- Reserve-3*
Kylan Johnson- key backup. Starter in 2017. 3*
Luke Ancrum- a warm body. 3*
Fred Johnson- average player. 3*
Nick Buchanan- reserve 3*
Rayshad Jackson-ST-3*

Even adding Ivey and Cece doesn't help because Ivey has looked average in most games and Cece hasn't had a big impact because he was moved to DT.

Add in the 16 3* commits from 16 and the 8 3* commits from 2017 so far and Mac has signed 37 3*s, 18 4*s and 2 5*s. Remove this current class and it drops to 2 5*s, 10 4*s and 29 3*s.

Outside of Scarlett, AC81, Reese, Perine, Cleveland, Jaawan Taylor, McCoy, Ivey, and possibly Cece none of Mac's signees have made a great impact. Add in LDR and AA and Mac's recruiting skills look even worse. 9/41 players.

TJ, that's retarded because you mean to say the 2014 class. 2015 was his class, because it was last years and he had been there for a year.

But the 2014 class really isn't his class, regardless if he penned his name in the last month and a half. He hadn't recruited hardly anyone, and barely had time to recruit at all.

It's just such a stupid argument that you're making, it's so myopic and simply ignorant regarding what position we were in.

No the 2015 class was for the 2015 season. Well he's been here 2 years and signed some of the worst classes in the recruiting ranks era at UF. So Mac didn't sign the above guys? Who did then?
