Article from Ryan Bartow

This has me very very excited for our future, especially coming from a national writer and not just some local Gator homer. There's some buzz around the Gators again nationally and I love it

247 does not have that.

Everyone is saying that Seider is a great coach and great recruiter. He is extremely connected in So Fl. A younger Lox without the baggage and focused in a better area.

The Ponzi Scheming MFers are going to have to panhandle for skill players now.

This will help us out a ton with 5 star RB Lorenzo Lingard next year. He's a phenom

Recent UF coaches Zook, Meyer, & Muschamp signed on average 10.69 four-stars per class. In 2017, Mcelwain signed 15. Down 2 coaches on the trail.

And it is only gonna get better now

What Mac averaged? What recruiting service? Everyone can tell that Mac is not the recruiter the other 3 are. If one of the young QBs can turn the offense around this year and we make some up grades to the staff we could get back to normal recruiting class in 2018.

Mac is better than Muschamp. While Muschamp had higher star ratings, he did not know anything about roster management. Outside of Fowler, NSDs were a complete disappointment without backup plans.

Can you show your work here? Just curious. 247 composite shows 11 for Mac, did a quick calc on the other 3 and they together average 13.1. Unless you're literally only including 4 stars, no 5 stars in that average. Which would be extremely disingenuous when trying to compare recruiting prowess.

You could be right but so far it doesn't look that way. We still haven't found a QB or been able to have a decent OL plus our defense is getting less talented .

It was a tweet by a Rivals reporter so I'm assuming it was based on Rivals rankings

I looked it up and Macs best year was better then Muschamp's average but Muschamp was a lot closer To keeping up with Bama , LSU and FSU then Mac. This year wasn't bad but we have to build on it and improve in the future.

If McElwain actually had a modicum of offensive talent he'd've been able to post better results.

Considering, however, he's achieved both offensive and defensive records with less.
