TIM Davis
Brent pease

Any others? I'm done with this Shitty offensive line and terrible offense. It's been four years, I'm done waiting. Fire them, move joker to oc, and get a real offensive line coach. TIM clearly has no fricking clue.

I hear ya. I am honestly not sure if this offense is Champs or Pease'. I can tell you this much, it is boring as frick to watch, and it is a catch 22 because if we turn it over, and get behind, we don't have the horses to catch back up.

Personally, I want the Spread back. Not the Spread option, but I want a Spread offensive scheme. I am tired of leaning on the defense so much.

I agree about the OL. It is awful. I have a hard time jumping on anyone else when we are getting our face kicked in at the LOS.

I like muschamp. But this ultra conservative will not win. Les abs saban have similar schemes, but it works because they also throw it deep and use play action to gain big yards. So teams have to respect the pass. No one has respected our pass game since tebow.

I don't.

Get playmakers and keep the scheme we have, and get a new OC.

I have been told Pease is out after this year. Something else will "pop up" and he will take it. Hence the Joker hire and Leak being made an actual assistant instead of just being a quality control guy. Coaches are in place going forward.

It's Muschamp IMO. Pease wasn't like this at Boise. Muschamp wants a slow slow slow offense to help the defense out. Not sure why we are paying Pease 500k if this is what Muschamp wants.

I agree based. I think muschamp has to kind of accept that this doesn't work. But pease isn't what we thought he was. His calling is terrible even within the system and doesn't take advantage of what the other defense does poorly. They ran zone or blitz all game on third. So you call a ten yard in and a slant. Right there you make the MLB decide who to pick up and both have a good shot at a first. If the blitz comes you have an easy slant check down. But watch the tape...even something that simple isn't done. We have receivers running complex routes outside and the inside guys not feeding off what the other does to break open. No confusing the defense at all. Lsu the whole game stacked wrs, and used routes that would exploit match UPS. I didn't see that once with us...not once did i see a match up and say that's what we want. That's inexcusable for an oc.

I think Muschamp wants our offense at its core to be a strong physical run offense. As a result, we don't practice the pass game anywhere near as much (remember we can only practice 20hours a week). So I'm not shocked our passing games doesn't do everything it can to exploit a defense (or the receivers just aren't as good at it due to lack of practice) .

So Joker will take over as OC?

And Leak will be promoted to Offensive Assistant and stay as QBs coach?

So basically it seems every thinks It's Muschamp.

So then the question is. Is it time to seriously think new coach? I really like muschamp. I hated Zook and wanted him gone his first year. I want Muschamp to succeed. But i want florida first and fore most to succeed. I would love it to be with him as our coach, but it may be he just isn't good enough. His defense is great, but maybe he is just simply to stubborn to fix the faults. We have lost to three of the last four ranked teams we've faced, and two of them were vastly insuperior teams.

We are florida. Since I've been alive no one has been more successful. Nine and ten win seasons is not acceptable here to me. Maybe I'm just too critical. But three years is long enough to have fixed the issues and have us growing better, yet we have actually regressed.

No, two of you think it's Champ. The rest of us posting on this thread either disagree or don't know if it is more Pease or Champ, or, like me, think our OL has been so awful that any offense would look like crap regardless of who is running it. I have no idea whose fault it is, but that is the biggest issue I see. Pass rush has been touch and go for years, but the run blocking seems a little worse this year too.

Since it came up, don't think for one minute that Boise was Pease. That's Chris Petersen's baby, and who he's had at OC over the years has made little difference.

I'm starting to lean this way.

He was the OC at Boise for 1 year.

That would be a nice. What type of offense did Joker run?

He still brought in Boise's play book, and was at Boise for 5ish years. I highly highly doubt Muschamp wants a more aggressive offense, but Pease is the one telling him no.

Either Pease sucks arse, or he's a offensive genius that has a scheme too complicated to grasp by a common man.

Muschamp is safe as of now. You don't fire a coach coming off an eleven-win season barring some 2012 AU-level dumpster fire.

If things don't improve he should be on the hot seat next season, though. And, honestly, unless the OL recruiting and development improves quickly, I'm not sure things will improve. We have playmakers at every position (besides TE), but you can't have an effective pro-style offense with a bad OL.
