Anyone have any inside scoop on fall practice?
Has anyone been to or seen a practice?

Here's the scoop.

Stop. Before the whole team gets injured...seriously. Just no practice.

Oh and Tyler Wilson has actually looked pretty good. Powell is playing really strong off the knee surgeries(I will bet he leads us in sacks without question if he doesn't re injure...dude is a freak). No clue on safety...apparently Maye is getting high praises from Muschamp but really no clue. Watkins, riggs, poole, maye, even Harris I've heard good things about. Our secondary is freaking unbelievably loaded.

Cody Riggs has pretty much locked up one of the starting safety spots.

Debose just tore his ACL and is out for the year, meaning that at least 2-3 freshmen will figure PROMINENTLY in the WR corp this year.

The other safety spot is still pretty open as Watkins has been playing a lot at corner.

Trey Burton has been playing a lot of WR because of injury issues.

The offensive line is dinged up.

Driskel isn't practicing.

Jones isn't practicing, although the prognosis is better.

Honestly, the news from Fall camp isn't all that great.

Muschamp is quotes as saying the following:

He is concerned about the middle of the defense (DT, LB, Safety) and he feels the offense even before fall practice started, is in a better position than it was last year.

I'm heading to Gville for the season opener. Hope to see a little offense and expect a whole lot of defense.

Watkins is staying at CB

Maye and Riggs look like starting safeties

Ball moved to MLB

McMillian getting a lot of reps with 1st team at WLB, Powell at SAM

Jones should be back by week 1

DRob and Fulwood both have looked really good. Both have taken reps with 1st team.

Still not much TE buzz.

Adam Lane making a move on the backup RB spot

I heard Taylor was impressing at TE.

Same about Mcmillian but I think we all expected him considering the injuries to the other young guns and Morrisons issues.

Ball moving to MLB...didn't hear that thats a surprise

What happened to Poole. Wonder how he ended up losing the spot to riggs(though I think riggs was actually a good corner, so I like to see him on the field).

I heard Poole has been solid, so he's laying kinda low in the media.

I heard he dropped to 4th string behind Flynn, TP, & McGloin (sp?)

Ok, I'll stop now. Murph dawg was looking decent in some of the short clips I've seen, but he's not an SEC caliber QB imo. JD needs to stay healthy all year or we're in big trouble..,.

No doubt 1950. This year I'm not all that stressed. I think our schedule is unfairly brutal, and we have a lot of young players having to step in immediately.

2014- That is the Gators year. I see it unlikely we win the SEC this year, but Georgia will suck in 2014 as will USC. We will have a senior QB, experienced skill positions, experienced defense. I can be patient for a year because I see the future being incredibly bright next season.

9-3/10-2 seems realistic for me this year..and I'd be more than happy with it..well..as long as we have 10 wins. No single digit win seasons allowed here.

Jeff talks first day back

I almost jizz in my pants when I heard Jeff say that he was no longer waiting for WR to get open to throw.

Finally have freshmen that are both talented enough to get PT and smart/hard working enough to learn the playbook.

That really is great to hear...at this level you have to anticipate them being open..glad he is growing. He has an accurate arm...his issue isn't that. It's his head.

I don't know what I'll do if one of our WR's this season makes a Percy Harvin-type play.

Man we need a vertical passing game. Robinson has to be our best bet. Bailey and Patton can take a short pass and turn it into something too with their speed. I'm forgetting what it's like to have a long touchdown play at this point..outside of the Tennessee game.
