Trust me guys, you see his face and reactions during the games? He knows Treon is not tge answer and he just has to suffer like the reat of us until help arrives.

I just can't believe that Grady and Guy can do any worse. Hell, give them a chance we might be surprised.

My sentiments....how could either do worse than have a 13 QB rating? And to think Treon had that low of a rating without throwing a pick!

I bet you have a much better offense next season with Grier back and with Callaway + Ivey having experience.
Kelvin Taylor should be back as well, right? Matter of fact it looks like Robinson and Powell could/should return too.
Coach Mac will have you putting up 35 a game next year with that experience.

DRob may be gone...he has had a lot of problems and the inmates shouldnt run the institution. We wont have Grier til seventh game next year. We will have road game at UT & Arkie and home game with LSU by then. Mizzou is home game and we have the WLOCP then USC at home...Vandy on the road.

He knows the problem is the kicker and the QB. He said the guys around him could have played better, but went on to say kelvin and the oline played there arse off and there were open receivers. He said it without completely throwing Treon under the bus. Treon is not the man for the job.
My favorite part was when he said we'll get a kicker, and he'll be a great kicker. I just wish we could have someone who is half the kicker FSUs Aguayo is.

I somewhat disagree...watching the post game I thought he tried to defend Treon...to an extent. F'k that...why hasnt he tried our two backups like I posted on this board 3 weeks ago? At least they would have had some live snaps (and the several snaps from Grady dont count when Treon was shaken up)....Im mystified.
As for kicking....Hardin is a very good kickoff guy....but you have the whole end zone....its accuracy thats the problem not leg strength. We are supposedly centered on JUCO player that was committed to Bama and I have heard that we have s hot at him. Anyone that knows something please feel free to add to this.

Well, he started Grier over Treon. Maybe the drop off between 2 and 3 is that much worse. I don't think this is a Champ type situation where Mac is just being hardheaded.

Not questioning Mac on the offensive side of the ball. He has gotten everything possible out of this offense. Mac is a builder like Saban. We are going to be back to being a powerhouse in a year or two.

I'm sorry but I have to question the coaching when they keep putting in Hardin and Harris, both who are our opponents best players the last 4 weeks. Neither of them have done 1 thing right in the past few weeks but you reward poor performance by playing them? That is unfair to the team and the fans. It's past time for someone else to get a shot. I could care less if Grady or the dentist screw up. I'm just tired of seeing H&H.
What message do you give to the team when you refuse to bench poor play? This one play has me thinking McElwain is not going to pan out. Treon got banged up and sat out 2 plays against FAU, Grady comes in and the players actually perked up, Harris comes back in and throws a wtf interception on the next play. The players all looked like they raised their hands in exasperation. McElwain didn't see that? Why keep Harris in at that point?
Has the coaches not notice how frustrated the other players are? I'm starting to seriously think McElwain is not the guy. Even if Treon or Hardin was his sons, he should have given someone else a shot by now.

I understand your frustration believe me. Dont like when coaches become hard headed. I sent email this am to HC McElwain and put my .03 worth in it to start Grady or Guy.
I strongly suggest everyone do the same...easy to get McElwains email addy by going to GatorZone.
As for the dentist...no way...did you see him attempt extra point kick? Unless he has improved with practice.

Another thing i like about Mac, he "gets it" you could tell he was pissed after the FSU game and kept using the term "next year" like hey have your fun now, next year we ll be comin for that arse when our offense has a pulse
