Obviously, you’re not going to beat anybody giving them the ball four times, especially a team like Nick has put together, which in my opinion, is the best team top to bottom that he’s had since he’s been there. That’s a credit to him, his coaching staff, their commitment, their commitment to him, and what he’s able to do.”
On the overall talent on the Alabama roster:
“Like I said, I do, I think this is the best 85 that they’ve probably traveled with to the SEC Championship game. I mean, that’s a real ball squad.”
On possibly playing one of the freshmen quarterbacks in the bowl game:
“I don’t — I mean, I haven’t really — you know, that’s one of those deals I think we have to sit down with them and their parents and handlers and all that. I’m not sure it’s fair, but at the same time, I know they want to play. So we’ll see.”
On the team’s hot start to the game – Florida scored a touchdown on the game’s opening drive:
“Defensively, what did they have, six plays, zero yards, or something there, on a couple of series. Their guys — but trying to — you can’t — you know, when that happens, when you shoot yourself with the turnovers, and they’re getting cheap points, which got them into the game. But with that being said, our guys came here to win, and I think it showed.”

We've got to make sure it happens sooner than later." McElwain on developing a quarterback
On how his team measured up against top-ranked Alabama:
“I’ll tell you what I saw. Obviously, the depth was a huge issue, and where it really shows up, guys, you know. You’ve been around a long time. It’s in special teams. Obviously, we got our tails kicked in that area. When you’re thin like that, that’s the nature of it."
“I will tell you this. I didn’t come here to be close. We came here to be champions of the SEC. That’s what you do when you’re at the University of Florida, and that’s the expectation, and I understand that. I’m proud of those seniors that chose to come back. I thought what Jarrad Davis did today was fantastic. That speaks a lot about a guy who was willing to lay it all out there for his team and for his family.”
We had a pretty good plan, I felt. We put some dents in them. Would have liked to have pounded that one in there. Realize maybe, take the field goal, get it to a two-score game. But at that point, I felt momentum-wise, we could bang one of them in there — I don’t know what they were at, 33 or something like that. I felt we could maybe get them puckered up a little bit.

How are y'all okay with the performance of this team so far? You guys have this death grip on the fact that he won the east 2 years in a row. But what else? What else has he accomplished? IMO, nothing. He's done nothing else to contribute to this team or university.
Imagine if you were a booster watching this team. Are you satisfied with your investment? If so, you can lay me some money to coach a peewee team if you like. "I can with with my dog at quarterback."

Mac and Nuss were aggressive most of today.
A lot of teams will get destroyed by Bama.
Turnovers and the Blocked Punt were a killer.
Take those away, and UF scores a TD in the 3rd Q, and this is a completely different ball game.
One thing is clear and has been for 7 fricking years: We need a god damn QB.

What do you think Treob, Appleby and LDR are?
They ARE his fricking dog.
You guys act like he's supposed to take four years of the program being stripped bare on offense and fix the shite in one and a half recruiting classes.
You obviously haven't been on campus lately so I'll fill you in: He's gotten upgrades to the locker room and the stadium, he's gotten a beautiful indoor practice facility built, he's gotten a $20 million athlete academic facility built and he's got another $100 million facility upgrade in the works. He's built the offensive roster so that whenever a competent fricking quarterback is inserted, he has weapons all over the field to work with. He also has improved the offensive line from 6 guys when he got here to a serviceable unit after just two seasons. I'll say it again, NOBODY IS OKAY WITH LOSING. NOBODY. You have no perspective or understanding of how the program has to be built from nothing up on offense. These have been rebuilding years and we're still going to Atlanta. Now, ask yourself: once this program is established and where Mac wants it to be, where do you think we'll be? I'll tell you where.
Celebrating championships.
So shut the frick up about no improvements or contributions to the team and the University. You have no fricking idea what you're talking about.

First off, the quote insinuates that anybody could run his offense. The past 3, possibly 4, QBs in the past 2 seasons have proven that he was full of shite. Apparently, we need a savior at QB when he thought 2 years ago that maybe you or I could go out there and do it.
Second, I'm aware of all the new fancy facilities. I'm glad all those things are helping put points on the board efficiently and consistently. Not to mention swaying big time/5* recruits into our favor away from the likes of Bama, OSU, LSU, Michigan, Clemson, etc.
If I was a booster who invested into the practice facility, I'd be asking for a refund or some kind of explanation for the shitty offensive production the past couple of weeks. I'd be holding so,wine accountable for the way my money is being spent. The tit will go dry at some point.

He recruited Appleby and LDR. He named them starters this year. He said LDR knew the offense. That nuss is a great OC.
Mac's offense are as bad as WM:
We finished this weekend
#110 in scoring
#113 in rushing
#84 in passing
#115 in total O behind Vandy, Umass and buffalo.
The offense had playmakers when he got here. He hasn't added anything here that was already here except some OL depth.

He's not serious right??
Look at the starting lineups last night. Especially on Offense this team is mostly Macs guys.

Absolutely embarrassing. UF is the laughing stock of the major CFB world right now.
I still feel you are a bit too negative, but how there are other people blindly defending him as "the guy" is just confusing to me at this juncture.
We'll see how he finishes up in recruiting and in the bowl game. That will tell us a lot.

No, embarrassing is if we arent East Champs.
Would you rather be at the bottom?
Id rather be rebuilding at the top than scratching and clawing at the bottom of the Conf, but thats just me.
