Writing was on the wall for Adam Lane transfer since Jim McElwain took over. Fell out of favor quickly. Jordan Scarlett already passing him.

That Lane kid had the weirdest mystical aura of any player ever at UF. Until he was the BIrmingham Bowl MVP he had not done shite at UF but people acted like he was the second coming of Jim Goddamn Brown. Well at least he left his "mark".

6 if you count Powell. I forget if Powell was listed as a pure RB last year though.
I know hes considered a WR this year, but with Lane going, I wouldn't be surprised to see him more in the backfield.

Herndon only played a few snaps as special teams player last year and we need a bulldozer not scatback type runner. Powell can fill in for that and take direct snaps, motions etc etc.

Basically if anything happens to Kelvin Taylor or Jordan Scarlett, UF is fricked.
I guess Herndon would be the next guy in? Powell moved to WR full-time, he hasn't even been practicing at RB.
Or with his injury, is Cronkite the #3 RB right now by default?
