If you don't believe the above, read what kids say about Auburn. Same record as UF last year, but their offense sets a precedent for being more exciting, so that is the difference in perception.
I read all this and immediately thought, "bag men".

Of course LSU has been nothing on offense but they recruit quite well and Bama had very conservative offense for years while grabbing 5 stars.

Really? That's a rather weird way to look at both situations considering Mitt had major back issues the last several years and Victor/Ridley are like every other highly rated kid that wants to enjoy the process.

The star recruits seem to want to wait to see how UF does this year. I think if the team looks improved then the class should be top 20 , this is the year the coaching staff has to do good.

I think they'll both come to Florida if the offense looks better. But I just think, like most highly rated recruits that have a ton of options, that they'll wait and see and if UF sucks, they'll go elsewhere.

OL TJ McCoy has transferred to Florida from NC State and will be eligible to play right away. He was part of NC State's 2015 class. 6'2" 305lbs. Center

Great news! What class is he? Im too lazy to look at last years Sporting News.

I think he still has at least 3 years to play.

2017 QB Jake Allen committed a little earlier this evening.

Great pick up. I think he can be the foundation of a monster class in 2017. A lot of people seem to be down on the recuiting abiliity of Mac and his staff, but I would argue that recruiting has changed so quickly lately that a coaches 3rd class may now be what was a coaches 2nd class used to be in terms of changing a program.
These coaches have to get in on kids so early now it takes the best of the best recruiters to turn these kids that have prior relationships with other coaches.
With that being said, we still need a quality QB in 2016.

Down on his recruiting? Why?
The problem is fans are impatient people. It's July and people start bitching 4 weeks after NSD if the next class isn't already looking amazing.

Sucess on the field will change perceptions among the recruits and by January we might be in tall cotton. BTW I think we just got a JUCO recruit who may be able to play this year?

Considering what he's walked into, he's done pretty phenomenal.

Agreed.
I kinda chuckle now when I think about how everyone says Meyer left the program in shambles -- they hadn't seen anything yet.

That was a masterpiece compared to WM. Mac will turn it around it may take 3-4 years though. Patience is key.

I think in regards to recruiting, it'll be faster. He's shown to be pretty damn good with next to nothing.

Meyer left some issues behind, but clearly the damage Muschamp caused is almost unreal to behold.

I don't think any team is perfect when you leave it, but Muschamp...I shudder at the thought of one more year.

Whats deal with DSC? Staff hasnt been in contact for weeks supposedly. I dont think Haskins is flipping from the terps. Sounds like this could be a disaster.
