I heard that it wont affect burns as much but Dexter Lawrence after visiting Clemson this last weekend is pretty much out of it for us.

A lot of favorable crystal ball action in the last 24 hours

Getting Eubanks and Burns would be huge not only cuz their great players but that'd be a nice foot in the door at a big time school also

The icing is the game at home with the girls school with a sellout crowd that will be loud...recruits will really be impressed...and start putting UF at the top of the list.

If on track scholly I believe he will have limited practice time in football.

Remember the other track star we got back in the late 199os under Spurrier, his name was Bo...forgot his last name and too lazy to look up. Anyway, he had great north-south speed but didnt have loose hips and had the hardest time learning routes and blocking...he did well on kickoff returns with his blazing speed and believe he returned two back to the house during his tenure....but he was definitely a north-south runner.

You are thinking of John Capel. I think Bo Carrol was football first.

I trust Coach Mac will find ways for him to contribute.

Actually was thinking of Bo Carroll, who was a track star as well as football....he just didnt have the moves for WR..he was forced into RB role a few times also. I wasnt referring to Bo as a player who came to UF on track scholly...just the track part of his background...Capel was about the same and very stiff...blazing speed though and did return some kicks.

Speaking of track athletes, one of my favorite Gators was Louis Oliver (#18) the big 6'1 220 lb safety from Belle Glade who actually walked on with partial academic award and was a track star and ran track for UF back in the mid-late 1980s. He and (# 26)Jarvis Williams (RIP) were lethal in the secondary. Oliver was first round pick by Dolphins and Jarvis was second round. WRs were scared shitless by these two guys...they brought serious lumber. If you left your feet they would light your arse up.

Ah ok. I couldn't remember exactly on Carrol.

With the new targeting rules Oliver and Williams would barely be allowed to play nowadays. LOL.

Flordia picks up 3* CB Antonio Nelson. Long corner out of Alabama, teammates with Lyndell "Mack" Wilson, our top target.

Feleipe Franks decommitted from LSU as well.

He is also considering the girls school...so lets give him an eyeful saturday night. We need QB to lead the team in the future and strike fear when opponents face us.

Any word on Manuel? Love to see us stockpile DL and put them in rotation if they are ready. OL will be much better next year

Ivey
Jordan
Dillard
Sharpe
F. Johnson
Riles (if he doesnt play on the DL)

plus we have guys like Andrew Mike, Kavaris Harkless, Brandon Sandifer, Nick Buchanan plus whoever we sign. Need to fill out OL with at least 4-5 recruits...as Dillard, Riles and Sharpe will be upper classmen. And we need guys like Mike and Harkless to start getting snaps as they will be r/s sophs.

With all the fire Les talk and Orgeron publicly saying he wants the Syracuse job Shavar Manuel like Gatordmb89 said is ours to lose. The commitment of Mack Wilson's teammate Nelson is a good get for us. He is also the #1 Point Guard in Bama maybe he can come help Kasey Hill learn how to play the game.
