I actually like the setting. I think a big tonal shift would really do the franchise a solid. Have a creepy cult with some scary elements. I want it to be a spooky cult, not a shitty band of rednecks.Their characters really need to stop sucking arse though. I'm tired of the charismatic evil leaders, let's have someone scary and menacing for once. No steeples pls

Of course there's a damn wolf. Nothing pisses me off more than stealthily sneaking up on a group of enemies just to have it ruined by some damn wolf or snow leopard that came out of nowhere to attack me.

It's just under year off and they are already selling pre-order, I pity anyone that actually pre-orders now. I like the Far Cry style of game play so I will buy it at the appropriate time, I will say this they don't mind taking left turns with the series.
