I can handle the shitty QB play until the backup comes in. I can handle getting beat on the road against a decent team.

What I can't fricking stand is looking like a high school coached team. Stupid fricking penalties. Stupid fricking tackling. Oh my god the tackling. My 5 year old daughter would pose more of a threat than these creampuffs.

We were bouncing off their players like fricking Mia Malkova on an 8 incher. It was retarded. This is coaching fundamentals. I don't give a frick about the talent level. This is basic shite I learned in middle school football.

What the frick

Bruh, i shouldn't have given you that blow. Got to learn how to handle it. You need to stick to downers.

Eta: you're right. We suck.

I'm just sick of Orth...will also agree on tackling though. Coaches have to rid the team of shite technique left over from the last staff

To me the most disappointing thing from last night was the fact that our offense didn't show up till the 4th quarter (techniquely we did score at the end the 3rd quarter). The joke right now is our offense the first three quarters of a game.

The hands to the face penalty that negated the INT at the beginning of the half killed me. That, and Jacob August's blatant holding call that negated a big first down play.

The tackling was terrible, the OL couldn't block worth a cuss, and each time we got pressure, there was no contain. Their QB racked up 200 yards! That's insane to me.

The issue is total inconsistency. We tackled fairly well last week. This week was atrocious. The OL was a steaming pile of dog shite.

The OL and Orth owned this loss. We couldnt open holes, make passes within 3 seconds and had no offense identity the 1st half. I expect this to be fixed. We are down 2 OL starters, but I still think they can get better this season.

I've been saying for awhile now that I do not get the love for Shawn Elliott and any or all of his OLines or his recruiting for that matter.

I posted questions about our OLine that I had after attending that closed scrimmage.

I'm admittedly not a fan of Shawn Elliott. I thought it was a bad idea to retain the guy quite honestly, and I questioned Lance Romance's claim that "this is a real deal OLine."

We are never going to have a big time OLine until he is gone.

ETA: And IMHO Elliott is not trustworthy.

Just to offer a little outside perspective, as I recall CSS didn't exactly leave the cupboard stocked with talent.

Additionally, Boom is a first year coach and might not have all of his desired coaches in place yet, or is evaluating what he does have.

The good news is y'all are recruiting very very well. I'd say as an outsider these are growing pains and many probably anticipated these before the season even started. Just my opinion.
