We could easily be 7-0, and just as easily be 2-5

What the frick, I'm not sure what to think

Love that we're finding ways to win despite adversity and depth issues.

I love the fight and grit in the team. I worry about how sometimes it takes our team way to long to find their groove.
The defense adjusts faster.
Today it took way way to long for our offense to figure out 10rc's defense.

Also as a side note. I think proper started reading our board because he ran AJ outside... and look what happened?

Play of the game to me was when Jake kept it on the zone read. First time all year, picked up 7 yards.

That's really a big reason our offense hasn't been great. The goal was to run a spread offense with a dual threat quarterback, but then Bentley happened. Roper is still trying to run his offense with a quarterback who would be better in a more pro style offense. Our run game has suffered because Bentley really isn't a threat to run it consistently - which he shouldn't. At some point, we are going to have to tailor the offense and play calling to fit Bentley or he's going to have to start taking off 7 to 10 times a game. At the moment we are stuck in no man's land.

Teams are beginning to see that Bentley doesn’t keep the ball on run plays. Tennessee killed our running plays in the first half bc their ends would crash the inside blowing up our rb’s behind the line of scrimmage. Our coaching staff noticed this and let Jake keep it a few times in the second half. With the ends staying at home our rb’s had space to run giving us a much needed running game.

Better to win close and hard fought games then get blown out. After the last 5 years of Uncommon football from Bielema teams I can attest to that first hand.

I like the fight in this USC team. Y'all been in some slugfests this year and wound up on top. A lot of fight for a young team. Y'all are looking good for the future.
