I live and work in Raleigh. UNC fans are by far the most arrogant people I've encountered. To make it worse they know nothing about football.

They think they will roll y'all - I point out Spurrier is undefeated against UNC. I think SOS ground and pounds UNC to keep Fedoras offense sidelined.

What say y'all?

I think the stands should be awash in UNC cheating posters

Women are smart to Cocks win.

Fact

I went to Chapel Hill for our game against them in '07 and couldn't believe how football dumb they were. I know it is a basketball school, but it's sad. The atmosphere sucked as well. A true wine and cheese fest.

My gut feeling is that we win a close one. The over/under is 65, and that's sort of what I think will happen.

Maybe a 35-28, or 35-31 type win.

We're going to win by 10+ points. Had their OL not been so banged up, they would've had more of a chance. Their defense sucked and they didn't recruit to immediately address it. Our defense sucked and we got the best JUCO All American DE's. Their defense will be better, but not as good as our's. Their offense will be good, but Fedora is no Spurrier and our run game will be solid.

I think UNC will be able to put some points, but their offense will not be as potent as it was last year just due the state of their OL. They'll struggle to run the ball and turn one-dimensional. I think it'll be a good game, but USC wins it in the end.

Gut is telling me that our defense will start slow. We'll get better as game goes on. Se can be said for UNC. Spurrier won't play it too conservative with an unproven defense. Both teams score in the 30s. Gamecocks win by 7.

Yes, it doesn't matter the opponent for venue. We always seem to have a slow start in opening season games, even worse when breaking in a new QB. Luckily, we have experience with the rest of the offense and their defense was worse than ours last year.

Win or lose, I imagine it will be very frustrating to watch (ie ECU in Charlotte, 2011)

I've had feelings of confidence and nervousness about this game for a while.

With less than 2 hours to game time, I think I'm just nervous now. Hopefully we don't get out to a slow start, but I'm fully expecting it.

I really hope that we can put a full game together like we were doing before last year.
