Things are bad right now, and I don't see them getting much better

Unless we take action this year, this program is only going to free fall right back to where we were. We have to make a move, and make the right move.

This means NO CHARLIE STRONG. The longer Spurrier stays around, the worse it's going to get and could affect us for a long time.

Bring on a new era to Gamecock Football, pretty sure everyone's ready for it.

I'm there. I'm at that point now. We shouldn't ever lose to programs like kentucky and missouri in the same season. At the very least, Spurrier has to clean house of the waste Asst Coaches. That could prove to be difficult though in recruiting the best Asst Coaches.

That's not an option no assistant that's any good is gonna come in when you know he's got no more than a year or two left

Well, Missouri is the 2-time defending East winner. It's not like we're a dumpster fire program, though this season has been pretty terrible so far.

It's good to have high expectations for your team - y'all should. A Spurrier-coached team should be good. It seems to be the consensus that he will retire after this season, correct? If so, do you have a coordinator that is ready to step in as HC? Or will you look elsewhere?

Good game today. Nunez should be a good one for y'all, hope he's OK. Looking forward to seeing Nunez vs Lock in years to come!

Umm, we are already there man. This isn't some fluke season, we are woefully short on talent.

It doesn't matter what action we take. We have a major rebuild ahead of us. No matter who the coach is. We have to see at the end of the season what our team looks like. I'm not gonna call out individual players or positions. I will just say that it looks like we may only win 1 or 2 more games this year. Hopefully we get better and I am wrong.

I'm pretty down on this whole thing right now.

I wish I didn't care, but I care way too much. I hate this crap.

UNLESS, they feel that they have a legit shot at earning enough cred to get considered for the big job when Spurs does leave

This was Muschamp's thinking. Tanner wasn't on board. I think he wants to make the outside hire himself.

It was clear after Spurrier refused to get rid of Ward last season that he had emotionally checked-out. He's not propping up anyone on his staff to be considered, which is a good thing. He just wants this season to be over so he can retire.

The proper people of influence and Tanner MUST be, at the very least, floating names right now. If we haven't started yet, we are already behind.

If we let this team get to something like 2-8 and haven't reached out to anyone, we're screwed. There is still a hint of attractiveness to this program, but the worse this season gets, the less likely we are to land someone of prominence.

I think just about everyone agrees from what I am hearing.

Things just seem to be spiraling out of control.

I hope it gets played here.. but honestly it's the least of my concerns and just about everyone's right now.

This was two streets over from my parent's house a couple days ago (my parents street did not flood):

Concern now of course is being in a zone that might get flooded due to dams breaking.
