That's Muschamp's thing. We were Channing Tindall's only P5 offer for a long time.

This is exactly what I posted when it happened. This staff has impressed me with evaluation almost as much as on field results. What's even crazier to think about is that they offered the kid a year ago. He starts filling out and going to camps next year and that offer list will start exploding.

This young man is ALL about the Gamecocks. Probably one of the most absolute commitments we have. It's all he talks about on social media..and constantly says though he appreciates other coaches contacting him still, he will not be changing his mind about us.

That's what we keep hearing.

We think we've got a solid chance to finish with a Top 15 class this season if we continue to improve on the field, but everyone seems to believe the 2019 class could be the one that gets us turned-back-around and headed in the right direction depth and talent wise.

This is an incredibly impressive recruiting staff if you look at their resumes.

We are going to have to tell some kids to move on from their commit here for us to hit top 15....the new NCAA cap means we can only take 4 more as Tyson counts to this class

The fact that we have guys committing already says a lot to me. They want to be part of something great and Muschamp and co. are going to get us there. I'm glad the arrow is pointing up for the program right now, but I get even more excited when I think about where we're headed.

There's going to be one, maybe two, currently committed who may not meet certain requirements by late December. Not saying we'll be backing out of offers or anything like that, not processing anyone, but because of the new rules if they are not guaranteed to qualify ... well, they know the deal.

Plus we've got room to put three kids, I think that's correct, back on last year's class.

So, all in all I am pretty sure they have room to take six more right now, maybe seven depending on some things previously mentioned.

ETA: KY game is officially a sellout which is good for us, for the game, for TV and for recruiting.

Willy B is gonna be lit like the 4th of July Saturday night.

That crowd noise will certainly be a major factor with Kentucky. Those fools just don't know.

What J. Harris had to say on Twitter this morning below a selfie of him in a Vol shirt:

quote:

They still out to get me cause they never got me...

And in the comments let's just say it was Vol fans basically laughing at us.

ETA: Is it wrong that this pisses me off? I feel like he's using us for a free trip and entertainment.

That dudes a clown. They only talk to that kid cuz he has Jaycee Horn's ear. With the depth we have on WR he'd be lucky to crack the 2 deep.

I sure hope so. Hey I was down in your neck of the woods not long ago. Coach Reeves still has his place down there. Love that part of Georgia ... was on my way to Eufaula to do some fishing on the Wally George.

Juco DT Dantrell Barkley decommits today. I could be wrong but I thought I just saw him tweet something to the effect of "thanks to all of the coaches who continue to show interest in me but I'm 100% committed to the Gamecocks" or some such shite. It was either him or the other Juco DT Jabari Ellis. Either way, not the biggest loss.

Exactly, there's gonna be another one too ... prolly in the next couple of weeks if we win these next two.

Americus, you're not kidding about the gnats down there! I swallowed gnats, had gnats up my nose, in my ears ... big bad assed mosquitoes too. We're all used to them in the South of course but these were those big black bastards that leave a whelp.

Naw ... he shouldn't have done that but some kids these days - owell. Our coaches must know about it by now.

Anyways, here's why we only have 75 on scholarship right now - for those who asked or were wondering and remember it would only be 74 had we not awarded a schollie to Javon Charleston.
