It is very rare that we actually pull a scholly. It is usually more of a "Hey, its really unlikely that you'll play if you come here. If you want to play you may want to consider X school" or something to that effect. That being said, I could be completely wrong and we could take all of them but if we do the truth of the matter is that at least one of them will never see the field as WR with the receiving core that we have.

Question...what are y'all hearing about Eldridge Thompson? He seems to be a heavy South Carolina lean and I know his mom is hoping he chooses South Carolina.

I think you mean Rick sandidge? The DT? Eldridge Thompson is a lb that's on our team. Muschamp said the lights coming on for him. Will deff play.

Damn...yes, I did mean Rick Sandidge..the DT from North Carolina. Sad thing is I was looking at a post of his on fb and then came here to post this and still screwed it up. I'd just read an update from practice that mentioned Eldridge so I guess that's how I got it crossed up.

There was a competition that was being decided by internet votes that he really wanted to win. His mom put the word out with the link to the fanbases of all teams that have offered him via fb and twitter. They kept up with who was voting from each fanbase. Well, he won and guess which fanbase carried almost 82% of the votes? Yep. Us. He said he wouldn't forget that we got behind him like that.

If we can close on Vann, Sandidge, Tindall, Holifield and Horn that would be an amazing class for us.

Just saw an article about Horn today and they had him at over 90% South Carolina lean and the remainder Bama. Hope they are right. He said he gets a txt from Muschamp every single day but he only hears from Saban sporadically.

Long shot, however Muschamp isn't going to quit.
Let's hope we get Vann on board this weekend, it would really give our class a huge boost.
Saivion Smith is 50-50 with us and Bama, not sure where that is going to go.

Rick Sandidge's mom is hinting at him committing very soon. I've talked to her privately a few times via fb and messaging on twitter and she hints that it will be Carolina.

Have to disagree, sandidge is great but Tindall is the better prospect AND at a bigger position of need.
