Before the season started a number of the Big Spur guys said he looked like our best back/would be the starter if he was eligible this year. I can try and dig out the links if needed. I also don't know if Rico was healthy enough to practice at that time...but I think we'll start to hear a lot more about him come spring ball.

Rooster and I are old enough to remember a certain quarterback from SC who chose the Bear over us. Coach Bryant later gave him permission to transfer to South Carolina.

There is a name I know Perry Cuda. One of John McKissick's first big stars ... betrayed his home state to play for Bama. I wanna say he was in one of The Bear's last classes.

Yeah, Coach knew Perry too but I'm not sure he ever ate at his hotdog place, although he probably did knowing him. But Perry didn't have that place for long.
