Pro style scheme

Reports are that roper and muschamp are wanting to try to run more pro style sets this year... that's a scary thought. I don't think we have the personnel to run a pro set. Hell, we don't even have a fullback on the roster so it's not like we can run out of an I-formation. I played situational FB in high school because I was the biggest running back we had, and it's not a position you can just stick someone at. It takes training to do it right.

I feel like we're a passing shotgun spread team with the personnel we have.

I don't think we have the talent or O Line to do that.

frick I think the only teams that do in the conference are LSU and Bama

I honestly prefer the shotgun spread look. I might be the only one but I really don't want to see us ever run I formation unless it's 4th and goal from the 1.

I just feel like you can do much more out of the shotgun. You can run a passing air raid offense or switch to an option style and not change formations.

It's more of a we are running more than we did last year which was zero. The vast majority of our looks will still be outta the gun

I prefer shotgun... always have. It makes more sense with our oline and receivers to run more of a spread passing team.
