Spurrier and Defensive Coaches/Players interviewed yesterday, Offensive Coaches/Players will interview today.

-Spurrier watched a lot of the young players, like the guys they brought in for OL.
- Boyd should find out today or tomorrow if he can enroll (he made the grades and graduated, so this is just a formality.)
- DL lost a lot of weight this summer, Abu Lamin lost 30 lbs, a bunch of DL guys dropped 20ish lbs.
- new safety I. Johnson is already on 2nd team, will become a starter by the end of camp.
- Perry Orth and the Long Snapper earned scholarships.
- Both Ward and Deke like working together on the DL.
- The Def Scheme has changed a lot and the guys are just learning it more.
- Participation in voluntary summer workouts was excellent, just about everybody showed up to practice in great shape.
- Matulis is healthy and practicing. Possible LG this season.
- Brock Stadnik will miss fall camp with an injury.
- Dante Sawyer is built like a truck, they have him playing inside now at DT.
- Ulric Jones has already become a vocal leader in practice. He's in great shape for 300 lbs.
-K Landon Ard also earned a scholarship this year.
- First practice, so no pads or hitting yet.
