How about bringing back Eric Wolford or Dave DeGuglielmo?
Other name to consider maybe Stacey Searels (coached with Champ at LSU in 2003). With Richt now at Miami, but SEC guy.

247 listed the names of four guys who muschamp is expected to talk to. It's not a complete list however among the four, Mario Cristobal from bama. What a pipe dream but hey, our boy's swinging the bat.

Cristobal would be an elite higher, but I don't see it happening unless we offer a title and 6-figure pay increase.

Eric Wolford should be warranted a call. Depends on how much he likes the west coast.

Heath Kline has suggested that it's possible for Elliot to be successful at Ga Southern St. and end up back here as head coach in a few years. Let that sink in.

Guge ... I know very well. He still has a place not far from the traffic circle at Black's Bridge on 391. Not sure if he is what we need though.
Eric ... I was on his foundation's Board. Eric is a good guy but he is not cut-out for the Southeast. He's a Midwestern west coastie. Best to let that thought rest because even if you got Eric back he would be here a year or two max. He's mercenary.

Anything is possible. It's possible that I may have a six-pack set of abs and hair on my head again one day ... but not too damn likely.
More likely that mUSChamp succeeds and is here for a long time ... what are those odds?

I'm purchasing a GSU shirt and hoody in return for the gift they have given us this Christmas.

Y'all....Houston hired Applewhite instead of Kiffin as their new HC as I am sure you already know.
Seems Kiffin thought he had it sewn up and that he wants to GTFO from the midget Saban.
We wouldn't try to go after him, right? Right? RIGHT?Please tell me I'm right even if you disagree...no matter how good that assfrick is, I am not sure I want him any where near us if for no other reason than his "gas pumping" comment.

I don't see Champ going after Kiffin. Kiffin has an ego and I don't think Muschamp wants anyone who has the potential to go their own way if they don't get the things they want. Plus we probably can't afford him at this point.
Posted on 12/9/16 at 11:08 am to Carolina_Girl
We will not go after Lane Kiffen. We don't have a job for him. He would not take a lateral title move or demotion. He wants to be a HC again, so he'll look for that. He might end up being the HC at USF soon.
Posted on 12/9/16 at 11:51 am to CockInYourEar
Whew...I think we would be able to pay him more than Bama is paying him, but I would hope he is after a HC position rather than a lateral move. I just despise him and his inflated ego and smartass comments that have zero merit.

I refuse to let that sink in.

True, was hoping though he could maybe steal a recruit or two from the midwest. We need to hire someone here with some connections to that area IMO. We need some big cornfed dudes like the Michigan's, Iowa's and Wisconsin's always seem to have.

If the internet didn't exist I would have just assumed you were on some serious drugs. But it does and as it turns out you are right. I'm kinda disappointed, there's a part of me that hoped Roper would move on in a couple of years and applewhite would be hired.
