Flourney-Smith isn't suspended, he's just transferring. The title of the thread is suspended.
Zander is medically unplayable, you won't see him playing anywhere. Not a sus.

Zander failed another drug test, the story broke Feb 9th. The "official" stance on the reason he's no longer is playing changed on the 27th to "medical reasons." However, his bro was no longer on the team, he was no longer needed and he failed another drug test, so processed.
It's not a big deal, suspensions that lead to dismissals, transfers, etc... still count.
Zander Ogletree will remain as "tallied" for the purposes of this thread.

He was going to be suspended, he was dealing drugs and admitted to having them, and that's after he got caught filing false reports with the police. Just b/c he transferred before punishment doesn't mean it doesn't count.

Another 1 bites the dust, although this guys has been kicked off the team and isn't suspended, but I still think this counts. Austin Long was projected to contribute to their 2 Deep on OL. Former All American out of HS, can't make the grades.

Marshall Morgan... not Taylor. If losing the Clemson game comes down to a kick, then we didn't deserve to win. That's how I feel about that. It's really my only choice.
I personally think Austin Long, a high-school all american and 5* recruit, and pretty good OLman, is depressed and needs help. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up offing himself some time soon. That's going to turn out to be a sad story.
Flourney-Smith actually hurts too... he was 3rd string TE behind two great ones, but it only takes one funny hit while stretching out for a ball over the middle and getting creamed by a linebacker, and you are down to 1 tight end that is worth a shite. TE is a very important position and one that we really don't need to be light in this year, especially with this pro-set bullshite that Richt runs.
Zander, glad he's gone, need the cap space for 2014 class.
Harvey-Clemons, that will hurt in the Clemson game very bad because now our #1 corner Damien Swann has to play his position, nickel/safety/star/thing.
Corner is our weakness at this moment. You take the only proven corner we have and move him to nickel, that makes our secondary even shittier for that game. Some a-hole that would be sitting on the bench because he couldn't crack the two deep will now be going toe to toe with Clemson's receivers. Bad bad bad.

Hey!!! I'm still in contention if we're just taking numbers, and not the reasons... Had two grades, two drugs (undershot) and an assault of some kind (which is missing) for 5 total.

I don't believe we'll find out if the kicker was suspended or not until the first game. If he doesn't play, the total moves to 5, it's currently at 4.

How does dismissed = suspended? Suspended typically means they come back eventually. Dismissed means they're gone.

it's semantics.
this thread was started for the main purpose of predicting how many UGA players would not be eligible for the beginning of the season.
