Well, my observations so far.
1. Bend and don't break defense is in full effect. The QB for Kentucky is 7-7 I believe.
2. David Williams needs to get in the game and bring some power run to open up Mcilwain and the passing game.
3. Stop running Turner into the tackles.

I've been watching the sidelines. Pretty encouraging body language/attitude from the bench so far.

Offense does need to step it up. Far too many runs for short yardage. OL giving McIlwain a good amount of time to throw though which is definitely a step in the right direction.

Overall on the first half, I'd say C+

Y'know all the shite that the Florida fans said about Muschamp and how offense goes to die around him?

How much control of the offense does he have during the game?

And muschamp looked like in the postgame interview that he was about to punch a reporter when he asked if Brandon could speak to the media.

But, I have an optimistic look on this. This team is extremely young. Give them time to grow, and I feel like they can be great.

They definitely need time to mature, but we also need a boost in recruiting which ain't happening with 4 win teams

I was at the game, first time going to UK. My head hurts from them blaring music all night at every single opportunity. I've never seen so many country white ppl look so ridiculous trying to dance to Waka Flocka. There's no use in having a UK band there cuz I never heard them.

Yeah ... talked to a few friends who were there tonight saying Kentucky blared music on us right up until our snap of the ball all night and definitely violated all the canned music rules in the SEC tonight.

Yeah after our first possession the crowd noise was weak. They literally would blare the music until about 5 secs before we would snap it & turn it off.

Quick question... they never showed a replay but was there a block in the back on the punt return? I told my wife even if we did commit that foul it looked like it was totally unnecessary.

It was very obvious and it was very unnecessary.

I am more and more impressed with David Williams. He's not running like a lil girl anymore. That being said, I'm not sure Turner is big enough to run between the tackles. When they pitched/wheel route to get him to the edge he looked good.

Yeah finally saw the replay this morning. Brunson & somebody else (couldn't see a number) blew up that dude right in front of the ref. Thing is it was a terrible low punt & Fenton had the guy beat already, totally unnecessary.
I thought the other special team penalty (running into kicker) was a terrible call cause the UK guy blocked our guy into the punter. That led to UK fg.
Bottom line I thought our defense played well enough for us to win. It's hard to win any game when you have more total punt yards (299) than actual offense (268) & almost as many punts (8) as points (10).

This is annoying to UK fans as well.

UK switched from IMG to JMI and I see this as a bad trend crossing the nation. Take away what makes a venue unique and substitute it with something that can be copied from stadium to stadium. Cheaper production costs means more profits to folks like IMG and JMI.

First, Nike stuck UK with that terrible new logo, coupled with new design uniforms every other game, and now blaring music (which means no cost to UK for a huge college band) and you are looking at the future of college sports where decisions are made by agents to make national corporations happy.
