Dive dive bailout by raw talent is not a good offensive game plan.

Agree, but it's looked a lot better in the second half. We wore them down enough to where that style of playcalling works.

In the long term? Yes.
But again:
Freshman QB
Freshman RB who is good
Bad Oline, especially in pass protection.
What does Bentley have? 6 TDs and 0 INTs? There's no need to force it for the sake of having a more exciting offense.

It's crazy to me that y'all want to get rid of the first year guy rather than blame and fire the guy who has been here for years where the problem really lies

Roper probably won't risk anything because we have an o line coach thats garbage and a suspcect coach

So pretending our Oline coach isn't a complete piece of shite, it's still not that surprising that there are some growing pains on offense. We have young players, the older players we have are still adjusting to the new scheme, Muschamp is coming out of his shell.

IMO it's a bit premature to start wanting to fire people at this stage:
The first half of the season the offense was averaging 14.0 ppg, with only one single game where we scored 20+ pts (we scored exactly 20). Averaged 304.5 yds per game.
In the last 3 gms, we've scored 89 pts for an average of almost 30 ppg, and averaged 383 ypg.
We most likely won't have those kind of numbers next week due to playing UF in the Swamp, and they have a pretty decent defense (although they have faltered a bit lately). But we've had an offense consisting of a ton of young, new-comers and first-time starters, and dealt with a number of key injuries too.
Now the offense is getting healthy again, and the offense is starting to improve. If we can maintain this level the rest of the way, I'll be fine with it - either way, we should improve next season because all of this youth will be experienced next season, plus we're adding real talent to most offensive skill positions...

The adjustments were good in the 2nd half. We came in trying to run a lot, b/c mizzou was 119th in rush defense. However, they switched DC's 2 weeks ago to have Odom calling defenses/schemes. They improved their run defense. Our OL blocked like dog shite in the first half. They blocked better in the 2nd half.

Second half adjustments were good, but Jesus that inside running every first down was frustrating

If you watch muschamp's presser he said that they run a lot of inside zone because as the game goes on, it gets better and better. He recognizes and stated outright that he knows it doesn't look good in the first half but when we need it to put games away, it's there.
