If I had said in early August we'd start 3-1...

...would you have taken it? Yes...we came out flat again Kentucky. Yes...today was a mess (but a win). But in all honesty if I said we'd be 3-1 right now on August 1st how would you feel?

I would have been more than happy.

Hard to say for me. I had us at 8-4. I had nc state as a toss up, but was thinking with a win against them we'd be 4-0 at this point.

We have the firepower really, even with deebo out. We're missing some chemistry and confidence both on the team and coaching staff. The young guys are learning and improving though and our team should be fricking nasty in 2 years.

I still don't know what to say about the emotional roller coaster of today's game hopefully they take the positives and learn from them. (Both coaches and players) instead of the negative which is a false sense of security that you can always get that lucky.

I don't see more than 3 wins left on the schedule to be honest. Don't like our chances against Aggy or Arky, Florida's defense is legit and UGA and Clemson will kill us. That leaves Vandy, UT and Wofford and I don't know if we can even win all those.

Honestly, I think Kentucky is a much better team than we give them credit for. Yes, losing 4 in a row to Kentucky is absolutely unacceptable. I'm just doubting that losing to them this year is that bad.

We ain't gonna win the East, but they have a damn good team.

7-8 wins is our ceiling this year, which is about what most of us predicted.

What I wouldn't give to have a shot at 8 wins this year at Arkansas. Which, technically, we could still do... if we won 7 out of our last 9 games.

The shine has gone off Vandy, the Vols seem on the verge of a meltdown... 7-8 wins is in the wheelhouse for y'all right now.

Ahem. Let me say, now that I have noticed the Clemson fans posting...

I swear on a stack of bibles up to my chin... if you beat Clemson this year I will get a Gamecock tattoo on my body. I will even let this board pick where to put it... as long as its not my face.

If it is an anti-Clemson tattoo it would preferably be on one my arse cheeks. And yes, I will post a tasteful picture of the result.

I had us at 8-4 as well but I thought we'd drop a game between Mizzou and aTm.

The issue that I'm having right now is idk what to expect. I can't predict shite. The main issue that we'r having as a team is executing when it counts. Early August 3-1 argument aside, even though it is definitely valid, if I told you before the game that we'd hold La Tech to 16 points, Bentley would have 300 yards passing and 66% completion rate, Tyson would average 7.5 ypc and have over 100 all purpose yards, we would have all thought that we would have crushed that team. It's simply executing when it comes time to hit paydirt.

Yes, but that question would have been posed in a vacuum.

I probably would've been ok with it if that loss would've been NC State. Once we got that W, 4-0 was the expectation and I can't believe we dropped another to UK considering how hyped up the game was. I knew LA Tech was going to be a hangover type game, but letting that UK one go was a tough pill to swallow.

What blows my mind is how the program has gone from being unbeatable at home and W-B bring one of the toughest places to play in the conference to being nothing special at all. There is no excuse for not being able to play well at home. But under Elliott and Muschamp, they simply haven't gotten anything done at home.

To be fair, the win against Tennessee last year was pretty big.

I mean I didn't expect anything less than that.

And I'm a pretty negative fan.

We own the ACC minus Clemson (especially those from the state of NC)

Mizzou stinks.

I expected the Kentucky one they have our number.
