And we beat Aggy, are we moving up, or is aggy falling fast?

I've always, always, been an eternal optimist for USC ... but I dunno, for the first time in my life I'm fully expecting a total butt raping. This one would require more than a miracle - this one would require devine intervention. Our guys are going to have to believe, they are going to have to play so far above their heads while A&M plays so far beneath theirs ... the odds are astronomical against it. Has to be easily 10,000 to 1 or worse.

Had we beaten Kentucky, I would feel a lot better, but my confidence is shot. A win would go a long way and could get us on the upward trend, but it's less than a 5 percent chance IMO.

Would a loss to us knock aggy out of the top 25? Or would it bolster a 3-2 team into receiving votes for the top 25?

We are 9 no way it would move us deeper than 21, but we would have a chance at redemption vs a 5-0 tenn team on the 8th

But don't get your hopes up I really feel good about our overall team

I don't think we win. I think it's a 27-10, 30-17 game

Then aggy is looking ahead, nothing more nothing less. I do not have a lot of faith in the team right now given how poor our Oline is and how so very vanilla our playbook has to be. Couple with that freshman mistakes and timing issues.... I expect a good fonging on saturday.

If we can keep it that close I'll do a cartwheel and proclaim moral victory.

I've watched their Arkansas game a couple of times now.

We'll be lucky to hold them under 35 in the first half alone.

They are very much like our 2011-2013 teams. Very balanced with talent everywhere.

They can pretty much name the score against our youngin's ... we're playing what, 50-60 freshmen and sophomores?

If we cover that alone would be a miracle IMHO.

LOL....I was going to post basically the same exact thing and then I saw your post. Yep, I would be tickled to death if we kept the score even a modicum of respectable like that.

HEY SPURRRRRRRIERRRRR!!!! You PREACHED about not accepting moral victories...but see where your sorry, lazy, shitbag recruiting, shortbus staff and cutting and running like a baby back bitch has set us back to? Yepppp...the correct answer would be once again celebrating moral victories bc that is all you left us with the reasonable expectation of having.

Worse part? You HAD to have known this would happen.

You guys have to remember a couple of things about the scoreboard.

1) We have held 2 teams who have averaged over 40ppg to under 20.

2) our offense is so bad that if/when they get to 21, I'd start taking starters out for sure. Running the score up doesn't impress anyone and they have much harder games coming up.
