To bitch about officiating but... God damn its frustrating that we are already lower than missouri in the ref pecking order. That bball game just cheeses me off. You watch enough league games and it seems like late in the season the refs take care of the possible tourney teams and shite on the bottom feeders, well not tonight.
And dont get me wrong, we deserved to lose after coming out and shooting 4 of 24 from the field but man, we got hosed. What bothers me most is it feels like we will always be treated like garbage rejects by sec officials in all sports.
God i am cheesed. frick me. At least we have baseball, oh wait...

I can't get mad at the officiating.

I'm not angry with the refereeing ... I've come to expect it from SEC refs, they just blow donkey balls as a whole. Last night was no exception, they were atrocious. We were mugged under the basket over and over again and the bad calls were decidedly lopsided IMHO.
But we did not play well, we did not shoot well, and we continued to make stupid mistakes in the turnover department.
Matter of fact we did not defend their point guard well ... second game in a row where the PG has owned us.
We didn't hustle down court at times either.

What frustrates me is how many 3-foot jumpers/layups we miss. If even half of the easy shots we missed went in we would have won by 8-10 points.

Officiating is bad all around. It doesn't just affect us. It affects the entire conference. We've had plenty of calls go our way, just as we've had plenty of calls go against us.
We just flat out can't shoot. It's mind blowing.

Refs suck. They do conference wide in seemingly every sport. But refs have nothing to do with the team as a whole, and Chat in particular, missing easy lay-ups and they have nothing to do with throwing it out of bounds like we have a habit of doing.

Seeing how our record is now, wouldn't the SEC refs want to make calls in our favor?
The more tourney teams a conference gets the more money for them.
They wouldn't hose us for a 9 win team. We played like shite and the refs had absolutely NOTHING to do with it.
