I interpreted that as saying... If you can't understand the way I feel about the flag then you shouldn't respond... I've literally been saying the exact opposite during my entire diatribe. If you can't tell.. the truth is.. I understand why you feel the way you feel about the flag. I don't have to agree with you to be empathetic to your beliefs. I am empathetic to your beliefs and I was the entire time.

I'll phrase it differently then: if you're just gonna say that my views on the flag are outdated, that the flag is offensive, that you understand where I'm coming from but the flag still needs to be moved, or just regurgitate your opinion on the flag then there's no need. I'm well aware and still think the flag shouldn't be going anywhere.

Besides, you successfully high jacked hours ago.

I will add that the swastika and confederate flag are not even close to being the same thing. The swastika was not worn by everyone in the German army but was reserved for those in the Nazi party. The confederate flag was represented just Lee's army of northern Virginia during the war but was soon after adopted as a means for honoring the soldiers that fell during the war.

With the NAACP likely lifting their ridiculous boycott on SC after the flag leaves the state house grounds the NCAA should lift its ban on predetermined postseason play hosted in the state of SC.

If you really think that the NAACP is going to lift their boycott, you're likely being naive. The next demand will be the removal of Tillman's statue (fine by me), and the removal of the Confederate memorial.

I'll be surprised if the boycott goes anywhere.

I think the flag will be enough for them to end the boycott, not that it mattered, the boycott was always a paper tiger. Bike Week in MB is a great example on why the boycott was actually not effective.

Well it did get the NCAA to ban predetermined postseason play.

And since the boycott was instituted after they reneged on the deal to put the flag next to the memorial then I think they'll lift the boycott.

They'll just wait for the media to start cramming another "issue" down our throats before they institute another boycott until they get "justice" ("justice"=what they want)
