You're welcome Rooster. I was surprised at how well it was done considering it was The State. It would have been a shite show if Ron Morris had attempted that....Spurrier likely would've gone off on him again.

Did y'all see where MoRon posted on his facebook that Spurrier was a quitter, a loser, and a despicable human being? What an arse hat.

Doubtful you saw it either. Why even post this without a source. Morris never used either twitter or facebook when he worked at The State....

Well if that's true then that's pathetic of Morris. IMO it goes a long ways of confirming what he was thought of as a columnist for the State....

But again.......an image and not an actual website source link. Morris did not and does not relate to modern technology and social networks. At Spurrier pressers when others brought laptops and digital voice recorders, Morris brought the old yellow legal pad and pencil, because he likes to think of himself as old school journalism.

There's already responses saying that wasn't a legitimate comment from Morris. Just saying...

He was on Facebook up until a day or two ago. He is friends with a friend, and posted in my friend's thread about the resignation. It was as ugly as you'd expect-and has since been deleted. He may have deleted his entire account.

Morris is an a-hole. I remember he wrote about how USC was "paving paradise to put up a parking lot" when the Farmer's Market was purchased, and Gamecock Park was in the works.

I have no reason to doubt the authenticity of the post above.

How often are tweets and such deleted soon as someone realizes they made a big, big mistake? Guy just got a chance to say his true feelings and never thought it would actually get out. But he was right, true colors do come out at the end. Morris showed his.

Morris hated Holtz too. I heard he once promised that he would do everything in his power to make sure Holtz was never inducted into the CFB HOF.

You know, the strange thing about Morris where Spurrier was concerned that when Spurrier first arrived he treated Ron as a friend. I remember being in the Colonial Center, underneath, talking with Michelle, when Spurrier came walking up right after he was hired and it was the first time he saw Ron and he was very very cordial to Ron remembering him from his days at Duke when Ron was covering Duke for the Raleigh paper.

Let's face it. You may try to defend Ron Morris but Ron is pretty much a pathetic, unhappy, individual as a beat writer. Or rather, ex beat writer. I liked him okay as a person but as a writer he was a troll and button pusher and he never vetted his sources ... he was all about his personal views and opinions and everyone else be damned.
