Cann to Jacksonville in the 3rd was a GREAT deal for JAX. Their OL is below avg, but not like ATL or CAR kind of bad. Cann should walk in and start for them. Plus he'll have his family/support structure only a few hours away. I like this move, he could have a long career in JAX and make a lot of money...if they don't sell the franchise to London.... I thought Cann had a shot to go in the 1st or 2nd, but I think the Combine numbers hurt him a little.

Davis in the 4th to SF was about where I thought he would go. I thought his Pro Day might push him into the 3rd, but I think the 4th was most likely. SF is also SouthCarolinaWest, we have a lot of players on that roster now. That SF system can be very favorable to him, IF he beats out Carlos Hyde. I was going to keep Hyde in my FFB Keeper League, but now I have to wait to see what happens at camps/preseason. If he can stay in shape and compete, he can give Hyde a run for his money.

Robinson to Detroit in the 7th, I thought DET had a decent OL last year, Robinson is going to be fighting for a spot on the Roster. The last time we had two OL drafted the same year was in '91, so good for Elliot.

Busta to SF in the 7th was a blessing for him with the injuries and him being a hybrid NFL TE/WR. We have several TE's in the NFL now, I hope we market that well to Nauta, Upshur and other TE's we're after. Cunningham, Busta, Cook, Saunders, we've had a good run with TE's since Spurrier's been here. Busta is going into a loaded TE corp though ( think they have 6 TE's right now,) and realistically only 2 (maybe 3) are going to make that roster, so he's got his work cut out for him. Although, Vernon Davis wants out of SF, so things might be up for grabs there.

Dylan Thompson signed a UDFA deal with SF. That's awesome for him. There are a bunch of Gamecocks on that roster. The SF QB's are not great, but neither is Dylan, I think he has a chance to be their practice squad guy, which is a $6K a week paycheck, and a pretty great living for a kid right out of college.

Damiere Byrd signed a UDFA deal with CAR. It was the best move the Panthers made all weekend....

Not sure if $6k a week is enough to live in San Fran from what I hear about their cost of living.

I think they parted ways with Culliver, and of course Lattimore retired, but are there like 3-4 still on that team?

SF is expensive, but $6K a week can set him up comfortably. Culliver was up for a new contract and WAS grabbed him with a 4 yr $32M deal. Lattimore retired. So now they have Ellington, Busta and Dylan under contract.

JT Surratt got an invite to the Raider's mini-camp. It's not an UDFA offer yet, but if he does well it could turn into that. It will be in mid-may.
