Do you think an open position (NC State, Indiana etc) will go after him at the end of the year?

Depends how much he likes it here and possible what kind of team we'll have.

NC State isn't bad but it seems like a lateral move and it'd be even harder to recruit against Duke / UNC there than it is here.

Indiana is a different story. One of the all time blue bloods in CBB and a fan base and recruiting base that I'm just going to assume are ready to do whatever they have to to bring Hoosier basketball back.

That is true.

I think Indy has some other options they'd prefer.
Would you be shocked if it were Brad Stevens?

Absolutely. According to the Mizzou posters on tRant and they already have him locked up for a 5 year deal.

But seriously. Will other schools inquire about Frank? Yes.

I wouldn't get worried until one of the big 3 schools in Florida opens up again though. Particularly Miami. Part of the reason he came to USC to deal with our clusterfrick of a basketball program was to get closer to home.
