Wow ... this new staff has been busy this summer.

If we can finish with a Top 15 class come signing day it would be a major coup. If we manage to make a bowl game, given how hard these coaches are working to recruit, it appears to be doable.

My buddy up in Concord was telling me this morning that this Nasirildeen kid got knocked-out cold in his game last night I think. Working as a WR I think he said. He eventually got up, but everyone was worried for awhile.

Geez hope it was nothing serious. As far as the class I don't think it would be a push if they finished at 10 or inside of it. Especially if this current group holds together and a few more peices get added

Anyone know anything about him?

Really good down lineman who can play end or interior. Has a stellar offer list. Has good strength and a great first step.

According to CIYE, he is also an avid fisherman and hopes to compete for our bass team haha.

I didn't even realize this SEC Country site existed ... something that is new since I've been gone? Seems pretty neat so far. Just finished reading about the Nasirildeen kid.

I saw that play. He got hit when he was a WR in the air, and they guy hit him in the legs. So first impressions was , "oh shite, his knee." however his legs were fine, he played the rest of the game. he just got the wind knocked out of him, and there was no need for concussion protocol.

I'm looking for that article right now. There are a bunch of 247 articles where he's talking to this team's or that teams recruiter or reporter about fishing and where he was just fishing. There was 1 article about 2-3 months ago and I read that he knew our club Bass Team was really good and he thought it would be cool if he could do that and football at SC. I can't remember if it was PK, DownSouth, SDS, or 247...but hopefully google is about to find this.

So, semi-OT, but I think I weirded out that dan guy on the recruiting board so much that he stopped trolling.

Just read where our LB Commit Bowen took a kickoff to the house last night. 92 yards. Must have some good speed.

I think it was due to you calling him "DJ" that shook him up......he didn't expect to be found out so soon after returning.....

4* ILB Breon Dixon is teammates with Jamyest Williams and a guy to keep an eye on going forward.

Copy that.

Looks like he was recruited by Lance Romance while at Auburn and Kirby while he was still at Bama ... it'll probably come down to another SCAR/UGA decision when the time comes.

He had a big game last week. Not only that, but he also had a game saving tackle. He ran down a kid from almost 10 yards behind on 60 yards out.

Check this highlight out.

Bowen has track speed. Last year he ran the 100m at 10.86 seconds....which would've had him at 4th in the State Championship (but obviously 1st for anyone who plays DL/LB in HS and is over 220 lbs., haha.)
