Did South Carolina ever try to recruit Mason Rudolph?

He has been great at Oklahoma State. I know he went to Northwestern HS up in Rock Hill.

Was there ever any interest in him from South Carolina?

No I think this was around the time we were told Connor Mitch had a bigger dong than wilt Chamberlain and couldn't be bothered with Rudolph.

I could be getting my timeline mixed up.

We fricking took Scarnechia over Mason Rudolph

Bubba instead of Jay Graham taking over for Shane Beamer as recruiting coordinator was a program changing decision that flew under the radar at the time

Roper like SCARnecchia a lot (why does my phone always default to those damn uppercase) ... the story I always heard on Rudolph was that he was never really considering us after SPURrier (shite) said he would be gone in two years or less.

Rudolph had some distant connection to Okie State and we were like fourth on his list behind a couple of others - or so I was told by someone fairly close to his family in Rock Hill.

That happens. Top basketball prospect in the country a few years back went to Fayetteville High School. Grew up in NW Arkansas, came from a family that had attended the U of A... went to Kentucky. Some of them are just going to go away no matter what you do.

Its over, get over it. It isn't a given he would have thrived here....glad he us doing well but I'm also excited where we are right now. Focus on the now not what could've been and life will be better and the season will be so much more fun.

Not saying you are on that wtf train, but fans need to quit bitching about missed recruits by the last staff. That prom date ditched us time to show up and make them regret it.

You mean something along the lines of Carrie because I'm down with that.

You seem more worked up over it than I ever have been.
