I'm really glad you found something to be excited about with clemson football that was actually DURING the football season, when games were being played. For the past 6 years it usually gets pretty quiet from you in November.

If they lose to FSU and one other team, the Clemsoning banter is going to be everywhere. ESPN is going to talk non stop about how we were wrong that Clemsoning is dead.

You're right, and it pisses me off too. But I've seen it before and it is history repeating itself.

Post WWII we had started to get the upper hand on Clemson. It all culminated in '75 when Jeff Grantz bent them over and went in dry. Clemson went on a payola rampage and cheated their asses off starting that summer ... they won a MNC a few years later.

They've been on another payola rampage IMHO. Rumblings are starting up again. Rumors from south Florida especially ... about pay for play recruiting.

The problem is, even if exposed, charged and found guilty ... nothing will come of it, not these days.

It's a shame really. But maybe it's time for us to get in that game?

ETA: IMHO Tennessee is back to their old ways again as well.
