One of my Clemson co-workers gave us a backhanded compliment this morning regarding our Final Four run. He wanted a return compliment about them winning it all in football, but there isn't a chance in hell he gets that.

Oh nothing wrong with it at all. We are rivals. we are supposed to hate when the other is doing well in something. I was just taken aback that less than 3 months removed from winning a NC in Football that they give a rats arse about our Bball team. But, thats rivalry. That's what its all about.

No they aren't. Don't fall for that crap. That's just their way of cushioning the blow should we somehow win, so they can say "I was pulling for you guys." They'll say the same thing if we lose, but it will be in a sarcastic, condescending way while hiding it with an authentic, but fake, tone. No true Clemson fan is sincerely pulling for us anymore than any true South Carolina fan was pulling for them to beat Alabama.

already had 2 tater neighbors try and tell me they though it would be "nice" to see Carolina win it all. I laughed in both of their faces and told them don't bother and save their energy to pull Coastal to another baseball title instead.
we're also having a small epidemic around the barrier islands of tater flags developing some random brown tips on paws. I don't know who's doing it but it's hilarious
