The ladies are now 0-14 all time vs #1 teams ... 0-5 vs #1 UConn and 0-8 vs #1 Tennessee.

Our day is coming though.

Dozier needs to stop reading those press clippings. Thornwell can't score 30 every night. This loss was bullshite and totally on everyone not named thornwell

The bench really needs to step its game up.

It's already bad and gets exposed even more so when Silva fouls early.

Bench has made 7 shots in the past 120 minutes, 4 by McKie. :l

I agree completely that the bench needs to get better. Hell, even when we make it, if we play like tonight we're looking at a first round loss. Especially as our seeding drops.

ETA: like waaaaaay better

Would help if half our bench didn't get kicked off the team over the summer

I feel like Dozier has completely checked out. I told my buddy that after Miss State, but tonight was even more proof to me.

Ever since Thornwell came back, he's been incredibly off.

Yeah ... we were there and it definitely looked like he's checked out in person.

Going to the Women's Vandy game tomorrow ... that's when I usually get all the juicy news about what's going on everywhere.

We are missing killer instinct players, with the exception of Thornwell, Coates and Silva IMHO, on both teams.

I think the NBA chatter has gotten him to become passive.

Doesn't want to get hurt.

Don't blame him to an extent.

Is Felder hurt or something? Is there a reason that his minutes are as limited as they are?

Some stats that may shock some of you:

Felder averages superior numbers per 100 possessions to both Gravett and Notice in the following categories:

Points Scored
Shots Blocked
Steals
Rebounds
Assists

How is Notice still starting? How is Gravett first off the bench? Unless there is some injury preventing playing time which there very well may be, I don't know why this guy doesn't play more.

Notice starts because he's our best defender beside Thornwell. He's actually the best defender in the whole country stat wise. Or that's what one of the announcers were saying the other game. I think Dozier's back spasms have been bothering him since the UK game because he's looked like a different player since then.

Yep Coach Martin is a "all about defense" guy. If you play great defense but can't score, you'll get consistent minutes. If you play great offense but can't defend, you'll play minimal minutes. Which is confusing to me, because after entering SEC play as one of the best defensive teams in the nation statistically, our defense has into the deep end. SEC opponents are out-shooting us, out-rebounding us, and if it keeps up, they'll be out-scoring us too.

But, I didn't come into this season thinking we'd be 16-2 in conference play, or even 15-3. We're still in solid shape but we need to get off this bad track we've been on for a while now.....

Go back and watch this team early in the season and compare it to today. They've regressed HARD.

This is unacceptable 2 years in a row

If Frank leaves, we are well and truly fricked. Marshall isn't coming here. That's a complete fantasy.

Id rather a fanatsy than see and hear a coach quit on his team like Frank did after Arky.
