Great win. This ought to get some attention for the program. Possibly a top 25 ranking
I'd like to know the last time we beat ranked opponents back to back.

Nice note from @GamecockMBB: USC has back to back top 25 wins for the first time since 2009 when it beat no. 24 Florida and no. 24 Kentucky.

The women's team took on 4th-ranked Louisville in Springfield, Mass. as part of the Basketball Hall of Fame Tournament. The 3rd-ranked Gamecocks soundly beat the Cardinal 83-59 behind 17 points each from Wilson, Coates, and Gray, 13 pts from Davis, and 11 pts from Herbert-Harrigan.
It was considered their best effort thus far against what was considered to be a very good top-5 opponent.
Looks like we'll have our basketball teams to help rid the foul taste of the FB season from our mouths....

Syracuse and Michigan have both since lost. Not helping us much

Hangover effect from getting beat by us. We should get credit for two more wins.
Michigan blew a double digit lead late against a decent Virginia Tech team and Syracuse lost on the road to a good Wisconsin team. I think they'll be alright

Hopefully not too serious. He was out with the team for warmups.

Anybody have a clue? Just seems out of character..

Might not be too bad since he's still with the team at the game but he made a post on instagram last night about being loyal to the game of basketball and "#securethebag ??"
Didn't mention one things about USC and it didn't look good

I do not know what to make of it if he is still with the team doing warm-ups but indefinitely suspended. Is this a grades thing?

EDIT: Not academic-related.

Why are they investigating that now? They just need to unc this and revisit this in 5 years.

I was at the game today and everyone was speculating - everything from left-handed cigarettes to something about a class issue.
No idea what to believe but the general theme up in the McGuire room seemed to be that it would be a 30 day suspension.
