Couldn't be happier to be wrong.

Also, Chat just doesn't have the chest to be a dominant player. Silva and Cobb are both better than him right now.

20-3. Holy shite. Who ever saw this coming? We were picked to finish 7th in the SEC IIRC

Hell of a job Frank has done. I think we all thought we'd at least be NIT bound. But no one even remotely thought we'd be 20-3.

AND we're playing for first place in the SEC on Wednesday, amazing.

We had a few really athletic plays today all by the Freshmen (Silva, Gregory, PJ).

We've got a really bright future with those 3 imo. Along with Cobb.

yessir. Frank has done a nice job bringing them along as the season has progressed. Gregory's block was funny as hell. Silva had a nice rim-rocker too.

pretty good pics from AP on the 4-letter networks site. I couldn't C&P - but here's the link.

I agree .... but we're going to need Chat down the stretch and in the tourney. Best do what we can to build his confidence back between now and then.

Looking at the stats... It's incredible how Carrera is 48.7% from 3 this year.

48.7%

What a year he's continuing to have.

there were a couple of plays Frank could have really ripped into him today, but didn't, for not catching a nice pass and scoring. I'm with ya - whatever it takes to get Chat's confidence back.

hey Rooster...here's a little something to pass along to friends from the acc days...

South Carolina 20-3
North Carolina 19-4
Duke 17-6
NC State 12-12
Wake Forest 10-13

Y'all remember the time that Dozier dropped The Peoples' Elbow on that kid from aTm? Check out photos #4 and #5 from this link.

Chat is so timid. Even late in the game, I just knew he was going to be scared to make an aggressive pass on the inbound. He has nice touch around the rim and a pretty good post move when he spins right, but I still think he plays scared for the most part. I agree with you, rooster, that we are definitely going to need him to step up down the stretch.

And who says basketball is a non-contact sport ...

And some of the athletic plays ... the pin on the backboard by Gregory was incredible, the dunk by Dozier and the dunk by Silva, not to mention the almost put-back dunk by Silva ... we've really got some young athletes.

I'd like to see Cobb and Doby more, that's for sure.

The expression on the aTm player's face....

And the links to pics in a couple of earlier posts...CFM and his 'crazy eyes' look...especially the ones where he's sitting between the other two guys..one with a "now this is fascinating" kinda look on his face, CFM in the middle with the full-on crazy eyes look happenin', and the guy to CFM's right with a "please, baby Jesus, let this happen" look...those had me lmao!

Irnoically enough Carrera scored his 1,000th point in a 30 second span between Gregory's backboard pinning block and P.J.s massive dunk.

Where is Chat? Isn't he at like in the 800-900 range? I felt like I heard that somewhere a couple of weeks ago. Too bad his play has fallen off and he might have a hard time getting it.

I'm not sure, I'd think him & Minda have to be somewhat close tho.

Intrigued to see how we match up with UCONN tomorrow.

I hope it goes well. Especially since 18,000 strong can hopefully rattle teams. I know UConn has played in every big scenario possible but they rarely play in front of hostile crowds of that size.

It didn't work out too well last year, and as many ranked teams as we've beaten we rarely can hammer teams like they can. We'll see.

And just looked up ESPN's stats:

SC has at least 10 games left.

Chat has 770.
Minda has 783.

So it doesn't look like either of them will reach it unless they up their average a bit and / or we make deep runs in the SEC-T or NCAA-T. (or even the NIT-T if it all implodes)

eta: If Chat could hit layups he might have over 800 already.
