We had a decent soccer team this year (11-7-1.) They are ranked #19 nationally and currently in the NCAAt. Last night we beat Furman to advance to the next round.

We travel to UC Santa Barbara on the 22nd for a game against them. If we win that, we'll play the winner of the Elon v clemson game after that in the 3rd Round (Sweet 16.)

I was at the game last night, Furman tied it up with 18 seconds left and we won on penalty kicks, it was pretty exciting. First time I've been to Stone Stadium in almost 15 years.

I found it interesting that an 11-7-1 record is good enough for a #19 ranking nationally, I guess there is a lot of parity in soccer.

I hope Mark can win a title before his time is up ... coming-up on 40 years. I've known him literally since he stepped on this campus.

I really hope he can make a run with this team.

Glad to see they advanced. Our women were ranked throughout the year and lost at home in the first round to UNCW.
