Or at least looking to the NCAA to shut it down for them?

OXFORD — Nebraska's athletic director job opened two weeks ago when the university decided to fire Shawn Eichorst.

On Thursday, a USA Today report — citing multiple industry insiders — identified Ross Bjork, Ole Miss' athletic director, as a candidate in which Nebraska has interest.

The industry insider is Ross Bjork. He's hoping and praying he can get out of Oxford.

Well they hired Mike Riley as their head football coach, so they've gotten off to a great start.

everyone associated with major sports is in the club regardless of any other factors. Where else can you fail up buy in college athletics/professional athletics/ and CEO level jobs in industry?

Jay Jacobs would make an excellent candidate @ Nebraska.

Dumb thread. Bjork is a star in that field. He's already at one of the most uniquely special universities in the country in the only athletic conference that matters. He isn't leaving for a middling Big ten program. Can't blame them for trying though.

I can not think of a reason why Bjork would leave Ole Miss.
