Tigers lost bad the week before IIRC. They weren't given much of a chance against the Gators.

We all know what happened next.

Roll Call!!!! Who was at that game in 1997??? I WAS THERE! Electric night, very wild. Spurrier was pissed!

Screw you Herb Tyler.

The big difference is Florida is no where near the top of the polls

Damn I didn't know we were playing the number one team in the country Saturday! Only thing is both teams from 1997 would arse rape both of these teams in 2017.

You crazy if you're comparing this Florida team to anything from the 90's

I cannot see any similarities between these two games. I appreciate your enthusiasm, but question this analysis.

I'm not making comparisons to Florida '97.

I'm talking about the sentiment - mainly on the LSU side - that the game has already been decided.

Freshman pledge... back when fraternity boys got 2 tix per game....got kicked out just after walking in due to fifth of beam in my crotch... immediately bought another ticket for $20 and walked back in with my other 5th tucked in my back. Spilt beam all over my date, rushed field, no sex, best game ever.... goddamn those were the days

LSU was actually good in 1997, as opposed to 2017.

LSU corner Cedric Donaldson* did y'all dirtiest if I remember correctly.

He was Florida / Doug Johnsons leading receiver with two catches 99 yards and a TD.

Was there! Had a piece of the goalpost in the Reveille and a chunk of grass. No idea where the grass is now.

With how shitty both teams are, I have no idea what to think.

However, LSU players are coming in off injury, where UF players are being lost to injury. I think that's the difference in the game.
